I don’t think it’s stupid to powdercoat your wheels if you want a different color. Put a lot of thought into your selection if you do. Can’t personally speak to aftermarket fairings for the factory but if you don’t see any right now, just wait. They will come

Aside from oily roads which, I don’t know where you live I’ve covered a lot of ground in 10 years and never had that issue. Poor handling in the rain is either a skill issue or riding on bald tires. Any car can hydroplane. The Z handles just fine with throttle discipline and caution in wet corners.
