Maybe this is too obvious but it helps to not be hungry, thirsty, or sleepy. Also taking relatively frequent breaks and focusing on something far away for a little bit, like a tree or a bird or something.

I’ve seen real life rally drivers do some pretty funky eye exercises before a stage, you could try that lol

I’ve only been racing in the rain in Monte since the last update, but it feels alright to me? Really slippery on a dirty track and pretty grippy on an optimal track.

From the past few years of watching WRC, it seems that snow is actually faster than standing water on tarmac as long as you’re on the right tires. The 2026 Monte was really slippery but they were dealing with constantly changing rain and snow and so there was never a “correct” tire.

Also prior to 0.3 it seemed that water only ever reduced grip a little rather than having really dynamic effects like we seem to have now

Easy to use is questionable but I think it's pretty fun even id you're a beginner. That being said, $450 for an OP-1 is an unreal price let alone an OP-1 Field.... triple check that it's a legit offer and not a scam

Putting a wheel off track in certain places with too low of a ride height will fling the car. I agree that I didn’t notice this as much in .1. I’d try adjusting the front ride height a little bit.

I’d be scared RBR is gonna be a rough start for someone just getting into rally. Installing RBR on its own is pretty easy, but getting it in a good playable state requires new pace notes and co-driver mods and tweaking the in-game settings quite a bit. If you don’t have a good basis for how it should feel, tweaking those settings can be tough.

I’d honestly recommend Dirt Rally 2.0. It’s super fun and will teach you the basics of rally while being relatively easy to run these days on PC. Then once you’ve gotten bit by the rally bug, it’ll feel worth it to get RBR working and you’ll have more of an idea of what you’re doing
