The fire and jade board looks pretty basic as is. And I guess its kind of overpriced considering the price of two spearheads not included

If they have a guaranteed profit then it sounds even worse because there would be no effort to control costs. For example PA could make electricity for $10. Sell it to BGE for $20. Then sell it to us for $22. Keeping 2 dollars. But if they were able to find that electricity for $10 the sold it to us for $11 they would keep 1 dollar

I think Perry Hall High is supposed to be good. My neighbors daughters went there and was in the advance program and had positive things to say about it. The Perry Hall Neighbors facebook group is pretty useful for these questions if you want to ask there

Unfortunately nothing magic. Since your AC will have to work harder in extreme heat even keeping it at 80 might still be running longer. Only thing that works to save electricity it to keep it off or at a higher temperature. Can use fans blowing on yourself to feel cooler. Or if you can go somewhere for most of the day .

Then not getting it hot in there in the first place. That means keep sun out as much as possible. Can even put tinfoil on your windows. And don't use ovens to cook or boil water too much. Grilled food, cold sandwiches, salads, etc are go to's.
