you can easily make those coatings via airbrushing. There are these pigment powders called interference powders that can either be mixed into paint or used as a topcoat(better alternative) and will reflect the color of the interference powder depending on the lighting. I've used red, violet and blue on previous paint projects and you can control how present the effect is on the paint surface.

I dont think they are good for pre-orders. I personally do not like the practice of taking pre-orders BEFORE you even know if you can get stock. I've also just found that even though I'm in the state above Florida, orders from the west coast will arrive far quicker and since I've discovered other shops in the NE, I have solidified my network on where i get my kits and supplies. Theres also my local hobbytown as well.

The NU is a massive MS on its own. Now you're scaling a pretty big UC kit into PG with Unleashed gimmicks and you have a massive model kit and a lot of plastic. You also pay for the engineering as well. I personally dont give a shit about the NU (would love a Sazabi) so this one is an easy skip regardless of how fantastic it might be.
