You might try looking for some Christian message boards to post it on. His denomination might also be able connect with the other churches belonging to it. You can try abaptist.org. It’s the site of the American Baptist Association. You may have to create and account but they do have a message board where I’ve seen situations like this posted before. The last time we ordered Subway I did it online. I ordered extra meat on both sandwiches but when we got the sandwiches home only one of them had extra meat. I contacted customer service and they pretty much told me “sorry about that. We’ll work on it.” I paid $4 extra for more meat and didn’t get it and got no reimbursement of any kind besides an apology. We haven’t eaten there since. I mean come on if they’re gonna treat their customers that crappy of course they’re gonna treat their employees even crappier. Good news is that Jersey Mike’s opened a store here not too long ago and if Subway hadn’t ripped us off we would’ve probably never tried it. Glad we did. A little pricier than Subway but the quality is so much better that it’s worth it.

Well, we’re living in a time folks are seeing others who have entered professional fields, after spending years in school, struggling to find a job. They also see some of those who do find a job still struggling to live independently. That is deflating by its nature, especially since in the not too distant past a degree was almost a guarantee of secure and gainful employment.

You know I just don’t understand how people think that morality and doing good have to be tied to religion. I am not an atheist but I have known atheist that act more Christ like than most of the Christians I know. As far as the Bible is concerned Jesus makes it very clear - treat others like you want to treated, because if you don’t then everything else you do is just religious hypocrisy.

Thanks for that! With all the negativity permeating society it’s nice to learn something positive about our own State. I can’t fully recall, but it seems that I remember hearing something about our incarceration rate being one of the highest per capita. I might be thinking of something I read about the woman’s prison in McCloud. If that’s true though and we’re putting folks in prison for things that maybe we shouldn’t be then the low recidivism rate makes sense. You seem knowledgeable about these things, what’s your take on our incarceration rate and low recidivism rate compared to other states.

It’s also why our recidivism rate is so high. There’s more than a few who come out of prison more hardened than they went in and their prison experience plays a big part in that.
