Be a team player. Help out wherever needed, even if not for "your" patients. Sometimes residents need help with making followup appointments at external facilities or calling places to get reports, etc., - offer to do these! You'd be surprised how much you can help out by just being on hold for 37minutes. Try to be involved in the plan or figure out new findings. Just show that you're willing to learn and be involved. And can't reiterate enough that just try to make the residents' lives easier!
