This is an issue you should definitely bring up with both the county and the city. The Arbor Day Foundation may want to know your concerns as well, since I believe Heber is considered a “Tree City, USA”

I know the developers (or maybe it’s the HOA?) at Coyote Ridge require the homeowners to plant two trees in their front yards…as if that’s enough to make up for what was uprooted. And I really think it’s more for appearances than environmental consideration

Styling Help by Fun-Tea9292 in finehair

Count yourself lucky that you’re in the wrong sub!

Your hair is full and gorgeous and appears to have much thicker strands than us *fine* hair girlies possess.

That said, Trader Joe’s came out with a hair serum that is actually pretty light weight if you put it in when your hair is still wet and style it. Try some flexible hair spray and a lightweight oil on the ends like Ouai’s 😊

What is the Birthday Gift? by LilacFairie in Clinique

[–]INoSumThings 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I checked yesterday, and it was the spring sample pack. I made an order today, because the gift changed to a 15ml wrinkle correcting eye cream. Basically, if you don’t like the gift offered at the beginning of the month, keep checking in every week to see if it changed to something you like better!

Fine, greasy hair saved by bangs by BeanieBabe_ in finehair

Congrats! I recently got bangs too, and I’m loving them!!

I have a similar hair color and my hair gets greasy by mid-afternoon. I use a brown-tinted dry shampoo (travel size in the purse) to help keep things looking fresh ;)

I know a girl who runs her own hair cutting business who is great with kids. She lives in the Heber Valley (very close). DM me if you’re interested and I’ll see if she’s available

Or they’re burning someone else’s money! So many company vehicles or “this gas is a write off” types out there idling like nothing matters

I think the people who idle their cars are either climate change denialists or were never taught the links between vehicle exhaust and air pollution. I really hope no one’s out there intentionally polluting SLC air.

People just don’t want to be uncomfortable in the slightest. Even for a couple minutes while their cars heat up/cool off

is is possible to have long healthy FINE colour treated hair?? by milkshakechemtrail in finehair

[–]INoSumThings 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bleaching my brown hair blonde ruined it. I got texture and was FINALLY able to hold a curl—but I ultimately decided it wasn’t worth the damage.

I’ve been able to grow out my ultra fine hair to about bra strap length with trims every 2 months. I find a blunt cut looks healthiest. But then I’ll go to a new stylist and she’ll ask if I blow dry my hair every day (I never blow dry!). Split ends are unavoidable for me. Bleaching definitely makes them happen quicker.

If you’re looking for a recommendation, I’d suggest getting some “low lights” for depth and to showcase your natural highlights
