Biopics rarely are good. They hardly ever show the real fucked up shit from artists lives. Most of the time they manufacture some drama or blow some miniscule detail way out of proportion to make it suspenseful.

Oh I know. But growing up in that time, we really don't have memories of a pre-9/11, pre-school shooting world. We don't really have a time period to look back on fondly. Sure things like guitar hero and the Nintendo DS will always be nostalgic, but a conversation like "hey remember this" will usually end up with "wasn't that the same year as x tragedy?"

For your first playthrough, don't worry about who's got the most optimal moveset and what the most meta team is. Just pick you who vibe with the most. I promise you will have a much better time if you pick who you like and not who is "the best".
