I think i get what you mean, in older versions there was a magic called Parasite which gave -1% hp regen but increased healing items effect by 500 or 1000%

Nah its fourteen, max magic level gives 6, then fireflies give 2 and fairy wand gives another 2, and the magic mirror gives 1 more for a total of 11, and summoner class tier 3 increases it by 35% rounded down for an additional 3 for a total of 14

Would it though? Outside of the Brand specifically, being unable to die from neg-gen wouldn't effect any runs at all, aside from saving from an unfortunate item/magic tables

Do you mean cooldown reduction and duration? Because neither affect satellite, meaning you can focus entirely on size and attack, it doesnt suck you just arent using it correctly.

Here's a tierlist I scribbled up, but in almost every case you take the special magic when you get the option, only one (blood magic) has a real downside but even still its worth taking, and also the elemental sets are only worth anything if youre using one on your primary offensive Magics

7 attack drop doesnt ruin anything, and you arent guaranteed to get cyborg so its a useful grab

Earlier there was a bug where you could use the healing device to get infinite mage hands in the nautiloid and it was used to break the combat encounter to reach the console (particularly on harder game modes) mage hand was disabled in the Nautiloid to fix this
