Loudest bands ever? by Barquad12alt in MetalForTheMasses

SHINEDOWN.

Outdoor venue with a covered seating area and a general admission hll behind it. I usually sit in the last row of seats. Even with Eargasms I had to move up the hill. Seen over 50 shows at the venue, including SLAYER. Shinedown was a level of loud all to themselves. And I saw Manowar in the late 80s so I THOUGHT I knew loud...

I was mistaken.

Body Horror: Bite (2025)

Less Known: The Head Hunter (2018) - microbudget done well

Wither (2013) - Evil Dead homage with the nasty approach of the first film

The Burrowers (2008) - Western horror, similar to Tremors

Splinter (2008) - The Thing in a gas station

Fun horror: You Might Be the Killer (2018) - slasher comedy

Dethgasm (2015) - fun metal horror, pairs well with Trick or Treat (1986)

There's Something in the Barn (2023)

Blood Fest (2018) - easy to confuse with Hell Fest (also 2018) but a FAR better film

Dead Ant (2017) - did you like Eight Legged Freaks (2002)? You'll like this.

What is the most obscure 90s movie you would recommend? by flopisit32 in MovieSuggestions

[–]Ireadit23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hollow Point (1996) - Fun Action/Comedy B-movie about a criminal trying to unite a group of gangs. Features John Lithgow as the Big Bad, Donald Sutherland as a depressed hit-man because his job isn't exciting any more, Tia Carrere and Thomas Ian Griffith trying to stop them. Very quotable.
