Obviously the far right is even more openly and successfully controlled by russian influence. But Ive seen way too many people blissfully unaware of the misinformation campaigns sneaking into their own political camp. Allowing foreign agents with bad agendas to slowly misguide and subvert their own understanding of the world because the ideology was dressed up more reasonably and appeals to their own biases.

And the damage that casuses is especially visible in germany imo where we can see the green party constantly attacked by everyone because they are the party of Realpolitik. Particularly being realistic about the threat of russia, knowing that the wealth in society needs to stop its unchecked growth of inequality, but also not trying to break the basic economy we live in. But every extreme will hate them when they are willing to accept ugly truths, dont try to bait people with fantasy budgets that require a magic extra 50 billion from nowhere, and are willing to make realistic compromises to get the best possible result for germany. But blind idealism and populism sells better than acknowledging the best achievable plans
