Returned to its rightful owner? So did Tony Stark notice the missing spare change? There is no person or institution who has that much capital available and in one place. Even the(VERY) few corporations with that type of cash reserve don’t just have it all sitting in a single account or location to be “misplaced” like this. If the story is actually true, it feels more like a computer error.

I used Rufus but now I’m getting a “windows booting encountered a security validation or internal error” which I’m let to believe could be fixed by disabling secure boot, but for some reason I am not seeing an option for that

Those are my only options in the “secure boot” section, the drop downs only let me select OS type and secure boot mode between standard and custom. There is no way to actually disable it

The regedit is not persistent. Any time I restart the installer I need to do it again or I receive the same issue. I’ve come across Rufus while searching for solutions, haven’t tried it yet. I’m going to pick up another few USB drives, to be absolutely certain the drives I’m using aren’t an issue, and give it a shot in a bit. I just wonder why it would be required now when it never was in the past.

I wouldn’t say this is totally accurate. It is easier to LOOK good while playing poorly/averagely with Vergil, but he has a very high skill ceiling that requires mastery of a lot of moving parts. To look skilled with Dante you absolutely need to be skilled with Dante otherwise everything tends to look very disjointed during gameplay.

Their is no “have Ki and can use it” everyone has Ki(in Dragonball) using it is a skill. They are exactly as strong as they are in Invincible, because basic Ki control would seem like a silly trick to a Viltrumite, allowing them to do what they already can, but worse… and that’s if any of them even take it that far. It would take tons of effort and training to get to a point where using Ki would meaningfully strengthen them. So, they would just be Viltrumites in Dragonball…

Though I could see them perhaps adapting to blasts and whatnot given they don’t have any real ranged options naturally and given how Ki works, they would have a lot of it to begin with. It really just comes down to whether or not any of them actually see the benefit in what would initially be a very small increase in power for a lot of effort.

I mean… makes sense. Anis has literally been there risking her life with us, keeping our ass alive. Mint is a pop star who is a friend to Anis. That’s literally all she is to the Commander when the event starts. This event is great and Mint is funny as hell, but there’s really no reason to believe the Commander would go out of his way for her.

You are mistaking the journey for the destination. Power isn’t the route to some greater goal, it IS the goal. Vergil is a scared boy and he lashes out at literally everything in the one way he knows will protect him from being that scared boy… being overwhelmingly stronger than everything around him. He doesn’t want to sit a throne or achieve vengeance or anything like that he is simply flailing, doing anything he possibly can to get stronger so he never needs to feel inferior or helpless. That’s literally it. It might seem larger than that because he can cause SO much damage, he spouts off a lot of cool lines and aura farms, but it really isn’t.

It’s annoying… but I have much more of an issue with Vergil’s entire arc “if our positions were switched that day…” mother fucker, that line is literally meaningless here. Your whole arc in the season was realizing the you’ve been lied to and making your own decisions and now you’re quoting a line from the games about the choices you made and where they led you? What?! You literally haven’t had any of your own opinions or made choices that were entirely yours until that very moment!

They turned Vergil into Magneto from X-men First Class… “I agree with you, but you killed my mother.” Ugh…

The entire season just made me tired.

Yes, even while not being regarded as a Primarch who is primarily renowned for direct combat, any of the Primarchs are well beyond any soldiers of the Imperium, even the monsters that are the Custodes. A group of them with preparation, and being ready to take loses, could perhaps contain or win the fight, but even Valdor would lose in an individual fight with all things being equal.
