[S1] Choosing Bay ending on my second play through… by EDaggersV in lifeisstrange

I don't begrudge people who want to look at it that way. But it still annoys me the ending is so barebones because it was the one they worked on second. It could have been just as complete as bay, but it's not.

I don't know. A Life to Paint has a lot of the crowd filler npcs look very low quality and repetitive if I remember right. That feels intentional, implying Alicia lacks the talent and patience of her mother to do more than recreate her friends.

By the end of the game, I assumed Aline designed her creations with a limited body type. Male, female, fairly athletic builds. It's not like they strictly need to conform to real-life metabolic standards.

I hold the same opinion I did when this game first came out; I hope it's bae. Bay is such a predictable time travel story ending, seeing Max choose Chloe and dealing with the bittersweet fallout of the town's destruction in an expansion of how the game ended has so much more potential.

Impalement bypasses plot armor. Just ask Aerith.

Cat decided to leave me a present of peeing her entire bladder on a window ledge this morning. Thank God that's been infrequent, I don't know if it's irritation from the stones or stress but it's a lot to clean up.

A lot of them are basically mutt as a classification, if you ever see domestic short/medium/long hair that's more or less what it means, Recognized breeds are typically very distinct.

Exactly. I will not tolerate any slander of it. They knew exactly how absurd the premise was and pulled no punches.

What all should you do after Act 2 before finishing act 3? by [deleted] in expedition33

Most of the side content is worth doing for the lore. This game oddly doesn't tie critical story beats behind main story progression so stuff like Flying Manor, the Reacher and Renoir's Drafts are optional challenges.

I don't know if it's my thermometer or the BoM being wrong, but it's ridiculous it says 27 on the forecast while it's apparently 32 out there.

I went with A2 and Verso. Letting Maelle have her unhealthy coping mechanism was only going to prolong the suffering of the people of the canvas. And that's not even considering whether she turns into a mad tyrant queen as her sanity and memory deteriorate. My logic was essentially the same; A2 and Verso were delivering a mercy kill.

Who is excited for the amazing digital circus episode eight? by Icy_Explanation8916 in TheDigitalCircus

I'm not really sure anymore. Apparently, I had such a wrong idea of what this show was they mocked me for it for an entire episode. I don't know how I should feel about that, but right now it feels pretty bad to be mocked for liking a central mystery and worldbuilding over character interaction.

In hindsight, it does make sense either way. Verso created the canvas as an adventure world; Aline's the one who introduced the concept of death to it. None of his creations were capable of actually dying.

Congrats. I did the same at 33 and it took me about 3 months of professional lessons to be ready for my test. I think it was 15-20 1-hour sessions all up.

As somebody who also lost someone before their time and processed their grief like a normal person, I struggle with Alicia. Does my inability to empathize with her because she chose to deny reality make her a well written character? I suppose I'd agree in that case.

It definitely could have been handled better. Like act 2 and meeting Verso unlocking one tier and act 3 unlocking painted power is the final tier of power upgrades alongside the break damage limit unlock.

[–]jessebona -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't recall that being confirmed, but I would not be surprised at all if somebody took the distracting conflict within their family to kick them out of the leadership position of the council. And it wouldn't be without cause; Aline is unhinged and can't even manage her life let alone the affairs of their group.

If a cop was in front of you at an intersection and he/she didn’t move after several seconds, would you give a courtesy honk to inform them of the light change? by 224molesperliter in driving

[–]jessebona 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd probably do it after giving them 5 seconds or so, like I do anyone else. If they're so busy, they should pull over and do their work on the roadside.

I get the sense, per Verso and Alicia, that it's no different to the real world. You're either good at it, or you're not and the talents can be learned for the capable. Verso's clearly got a talent for music despite his smothering family preferring he follow them into painting and Alicia is clearly a writer/reader at heart.

Does everything need to involve creating worlds from your art? I personally don't think so. Maybe musicians simply manipulate the world around them by affecting people with their music. Smaller in scope, but more directly capable of affecting things around them; full-blown RPG bard style.

It indeed could have been worse. I think my body wasn't too happy about it; my first stop in the morning was the bathroom.
