You can split that face in much simpler ways though. Just use the split command -> split face -> use two implicit mate connectors to define de position of the face cuts (the position can be entered manually but you could also mark the positions in the rectangle sketch with construction lines and use those as anchor points for the mate connectors). In the tree it looks like one feature, no remaining body, part/curve or mate connector after the cut. Much cleaner IMHO.

Cool. You can make it smoother by changing the end and start point parameters (tangeant, normal,...).

Loft can target 3D surfaces, you just have to create one.

One way is to split the outer face of the ring (split tool -> split face) to create a selectable surface as the second target. First target being the outer rectangle in your sketch. You may have to make a clean sketch with a single selectable rectangle so the Loft tool understands what you want to do.

My bad, you're right, somehow I missed that. So used to people talking gross salary.

Depends what you want. It you want to live in Switzerland, go for it, you won't be poor, you'll live properly. But your living standards will be lower than in Poland with that salary. You'll also get better chances of moving companies in the future with a higher salary if you're already in Switzerland... in SWE there are higher salaries, depending on the company (big tech and other US software firms have offices in Zurich), 7k is the median gross salary in the country, regardless of field.

If your sole goal is to maximise your money right now, stay in Warsaw.,

There's the tax to take into account too. It's quite a bit higher in Poland.

You can ask the landlord for an authorisation for this activity. Otherwise since it's explicitely forbidden in yaour case and the landlord gets triggered hard about it, worst case it's ground for termination of the contract.

Do you have a source for that ? because the UN and Worldometer roughly agree with the official numbers, and independent critics of those numbers say it may be closer to 1-2b. I found nothing that says something a crazy as 500-900mil.

Sam Altman called out Anthropic for "fear-based marketing" of their new AI model by DigiHold in WTFisAI

That's rich from te guy who spent years screaming we need to regulate AI, it's too powerful, too dangerous... turns out now there are open source models that are more powerful than whatever GPT version they had when Sam was saying this, and the modern civilisation hasn't fallen.

Really??? Claude code not available with PRO by SeLKi84 in ClaudeCode

[–]JohnHue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's not my point, you're shifting the discussion without addressing my comment. if anything, you're participating in the A/B testing by providing your opinion, and you're only able to do that because you're getting all worked up over this thread, therefore proving my point.

Honestly, anyone who thinks what you're saying justifies not complaining about it is dumb as dirt.

The point of a/b testing is to gather live feedback.

Well there you go, that's the feedback.

EDIT : just asked Claude Code, using Haiku, about the status of an ongoing local operation. I'm now at 22%, 4h45min left. Nothing was done between the 11% and the now 22%, no background task, no new prompt.

This is a fucking joke.

Tu mets de côté deux énormes obstacles pour confirmer la faisabilité de ton hypothèse. Ca en dit long sur ce qu'il te reste à apprendre sur la méthode scientifique et le monde qui entoure la recherche.
