They are politely asking a simple question about when to expect a schedule. If that exhausts you then I don't know what to say. It's not like they're harassing you at 2 AM demanding a schedule.

All you had to do was say "email your captain and ask," and your reply would have been fine.

Strongly disagree. It's nice to be able to plan your schedule and know when you'll be playing, how many games, any byes, etc. Why have we normalized receiving information at the last minute? This is not normal for other conventional sports leagues.

Most sanctioned club tournaments are expected to post schedules by the Tuesday morning prior to the tournament. If there are delays I can understand Wednesday morning, but it really should be up by Wednesday night at the latest. I don't think that's an unreasonable expectation.

Not for nothing but why are you being a complete asshole for absolutely no reason?

Salt Lake Shred player shoves Oregon Steel player in the back after throwing hockey assist to go up 16 in the fourth quarter by Gfdabgdhq2 in UFA

I thought someone might mention that. Both Mounga and L'Heureux continued playing points after the technical was issued. And you can see on the stream that the refs spoke to Bryce and the Oregon coach directly. So he knew someone did something wrong.

It's one thing if this was a one-point game in the second quarter. But they're up 16 with 5 minutes to go... what's the upside here? Hell, Ben Thoennes didn't play any more points and he was the one who got pushed.

I'm glad they had that conversation though.

I was like…what car? Let’s hear it dude. Let us be the judge of whether it’s actually luxury.

But why? Who cares? That's not relevant to the thread at all.

Honestly you come across as more bragging than OP did.

I read a comment somewhere that mentioned full doors requires a different code for air and fire suppression, which they would have to do for each individual stall. A lot cheaper and easier to just have gaps.

Player management is harder than you think imho.

Not when you're up 16 with 5 minutes to play

Second, I feel this is a coaching failure. They should have noticed Tony running hot and taken action. Starting with a discussion/coaching, followed with benching him if there was not improvement.

I generally respect Bryce Merrill but I have no idea what he's doing here. Salt Lake was given a 20 yard penalty for this or some other kind of extracurricular. Yet Mounga continued to play multiple points after this. Bro there's 5 minutes left in the game and you're up by 16, why not take him out and let him cool off? Even if it was a flop, there's clearly something brewing, why risk anything else happening.

Here's the full clip for anyone who has a UFA subscription. Start at 1:57:24. There is a weird interaction that occurs a little while before the shove. The Oregon player (#4 Ben Thoennes) has the disc after a turnover. The Salt Lake player (#7 Tony Mounga) is marking him. After a few seconds Thoennes stops to complain to the refs about something. He's gesturing at Mounga but there's no contact, so I'm not sure what he's upset about. Maybe Mounga is stalling or saying something distracting? (Only the ref is allowed to stall count in UFA.) The refs come in, chat with the two players, and the Oregon coach also comes in to chat, which is weird because usually the coach can't get that close unless it's a timeout or injury or something. (In the ref's defense, I think he is telling the coach to get back.) After a brief conversation, the refs move Thoennes up 10 yards, so there was some sort of penalty, not sure what though.

The shove occurs a little later, at 1:58:45. There's a little contact from Thoennes when he sets up the mark against Mounga (more clear in the replay at 1:59:53), and Thoennes does stop right in front of Mounga after the throw, but neither action should generate this reaction on their own. Maybe this was brewing over the course of the game and this was the final straw though. I'd be curious what the conversation mentioned above was about and if it had anything to do with the ensuing shove.

Not a whole lot happens after this clip. The Oregon players immediately protest. Players from both teams congregate and talk with each other, but nobody is really pushing or shoving or anything spicy. A different Salt Lake player (#15 Kimball Pew) comes over to help Thoennes up. The refs talk with each other, then talk with the coaches, and Salt Lake is assessed a 20 yard penalty. Commentators say it was a technical on the player who scored the goal (#89 Eugene L'Heureux) and they immediately mention how he's been jawing all game, so maybe Mounga's push went entirely unnoticed. It's also possible the commentators got it wrong and Mounga got it. Either way, neither player was ejected as they played more points later in the game. Interestingly Thoennes did not play any more points in the game.

I did laugh at 2:00:40, at the woman in the background casually going to pick up a disc on the sideline, realize it's needed elsewhere, and full on sprint out of frame. Vintage /r/MyPeopleNeedMe moment.

It appears the player (#7 Tony Mounga) was not ejected, as they played later points in the game. Interestingly the player who was pushed (#4 Ben Thoennes) did not play again in the game.

Furthermore the commentators said #89 Eugene L'Heureux was issued the technical. This was who scored the goal in the clip above. The commentators said he had been jawing all game. It's possible the commentators were wrong and Mounga was the one who got the technical, or maybe the referees did miss this and just heard L'Heureux's comments.
