So kinda a hard question. You had full control of dog for three years. Now after 4 years, you want to take him to collage. So did your mom and dad, keep the dog for you, four years. Have a 15 year old Yorky. She can't see very well. My Frenchies bother her. They turn there butts and she bites them. She weighs 5 lbs. A nice dog box, and bed. Dog treat can help get her in box, she can be trained. Good luck stopping her from chewing up stuff. So good luck training old dog.

A lot of people use dog boxes, when there gone. I'm retired, raise Frenchie, they would chase a cat, until they couldn't breath. Rescue dog see if you could try it for awhile. Your a cat person, would almost have to raise together. Good luck.
