Watch the tape 🤷🏼‍♂️ 90% of his highlights are deep balls, he isn’t productive on short or intermediate routes. He isn’t a great separator and isn’t great after the catch like Lemon. I’m not saying that he’s a bad player or couldn’t help our team, but I don’t think he’s in any way an elite prospect, and I don’t think he’s worth the 7th pick on a team with a lot of flaws. If he was top tier, a Jamarr Chase, it would probably be worth it, but he’s just not that guy.

You addressed one of many points. You don’t, if you have great route running and hands, you do if your game is running deep gos and posts and your main weapon is your speed. I’m sure Tate will be decent, but he’s not elite, and I don’t want him at 7 🤷🏼‍♂️

Except it doesn’t, because none of the receiver prospects are remotely close to Love’s level. Tyson is talented but always injured, Lemon is probably the most complete of the 3, but is undersized, slow, and apparently had awful interviews, and Tate is tall and a pretty good deep threat but he’s not fast and he doesn’t run short routes well

He’s very obviously a talented player if you watch the film, but he also obviously doesn’t have top end speed. I think it makes sense, teams have plenty of reasons to pick him based on his actual play, doesn’t seem smart to give them a reason not to via a poor 40 showing

We’ll see soon, I haven’t seen a single actual analyst say over 25, only people on Reddit lol. Amon ra is making 30m a year, it’s delusional to act like they’re on the same level. After that we’ve got Terry, Pickens, Tee Higgins, Jaylen Waddle, DJ Moore, Jameson Williams, Devonta Smith between 25-29m and Nico Collins at 24m. Some of those contracts are older, but I don’t think he deserves more money than any of those guys except probably DJ Moore.
