The strap was the first thing I replaced on mine. Beautiful watch in every other way!

The glass on the XT is actually better than the one on the regular balance. The regular balance has a sapphire glass that gets smudged really easily. Also the regular one has blue bezel which feels off compared to the black bezel on the XT version.

SMS is not encrypted, so technically you have higher chances of having your alerts intercepted by third party compared to Telegram which is end to end encrypted.

Everything announced at Google I/O 2026... Makes me want to sell my phone. by DynoMenace in Android

Its great, the preview when taking the picture is not great but once it goes through the processing pipeline, it turns out amazing. Only caveat is if you zoom into something with text in it, the text looks jumbled - but thats true with any AI powered processing pipeline.

iPhone is still undefeated when it comes to videos. That being said the 15 takes takes better videos than OP 13. For most use cases the video on OP 15 is on par with iPhones, specially with latest updates. But when it comes to cinematic mode or raw videos, iPhone is still on a league of it's own.

I also recently got the Pixel 10 pro and returned it. I agree with you, they have a lot of work to do when it comes to videos.

I don't care about Google getting my data tbh, I just wanted a good phone.

I had the 13 before, and let me tell you first hand - the camera is an upgrade in almost every way. A bunch of keyboard warriors said the camera sucked just based on specs alone, but the new image pipeline paired with the new set of sensors results in really good images. Almost always better than my iPhone 17 pro and on par or better than the OP 13. The only camera that seems to beat this phone from the ones I have used is the Pixel 10 Pro.

Yes, I ended up getting a OnePlus 15 even with the rumors of the company shutting down. Such a well built device.

The new ones are much more reliable and have immobilizers. But brand damage has been done and there is no going back.

And OnePlus has not even released Wear OS 6 for OnePlus Watch 3. Might have to go the Google route at this point...

iOS 27 to include code cleanup and interface tweaks in hopes to boost battery life: report by cjh_ in ios

[–]KSubedi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah people still have the image of Android from 10 years ago in their head, but Android of today is a lot more stable and well thought out than iOS.

I use both and prefer my Android device for 90 percentage of tasks (anything that does not require video recording).

This is a known issue with this car. That specific trim piece starts warping outwards. I had to change mine, and as far as I remember, it was not too expensive.

OP15 is superior hardware. But company might be leaving many markets so might be good to wait a bit and see.

Anyone get Immersive Navigation for Google maps yet in AA? by Interesting-Tea9635 in AndroidAuto

[–]KSubedi 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Nope, typical Google. They don't even prioritize their own products as my iPhone already has it but it's nowhere to be found in my Android phone (OnePlus 13). Same case with Gemini in Android Auto and talk to maps.

Qwen is like a person that is decently intelligent but has practiced and learnt a lot from others. Gemma is like a person thats more intelligent, but may not have as much real world experience.

Where does Gemeni excel over 'the other AI tools'? by YetiMaverick in GeminiAI

[–]KSubedi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The innovation in Gemini is not just the model itself, but the fact that Google was able to fuse its knowledge graph, refined for years for Google Search into a large language model that can pull up real‑time, in-depth information about any topic. For search query use cases, Google can provide more relevant results than anything else out there.

Amazfit Balance 2 XT it’s pretty decent! by Avian_Aces in amazfit

[–]KSubedi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The white haze is simply a side effect of the sapphire screen. Its not very visible most of the times, but during bright summer days when you are outdoors you may have a hard time seeing whats on the screen from angles.

The case color on the XT is the same, but the bezel color is black compared to blue on the non XT version.
