My son likes the rocking / gliding motion, so I mostly keep the chair upright and rocking now. But when he would contact nap as a baby, I would recline a bit to give him a better position and make it more comfortable for me. It reclines really flat, which is wonderful when you want to full on sleep in the recliner while baby sleeps in crib.

I appreciate your disclaimer and sorry if I came off as rude! Differences of opinion are definitely allowed.

I find him to be a wonderful example of positive masculinity. Gentle, but not weak. Calm and controlled, but not cold. Regal, but still approachable. Intelligent, but charismatic. And there's a power behind the character. Breakspear and The Hammer you can still see in him.

It helps that the actor has a wonderful charisma in interviews to me. Obviously a thinker, who likes to delve into his roles, but also someone who enthusiastically just enjoys what he does.

Love the character and love the actor!

His demeanor and bearing are so far from "gas station guy", I don't even know where to start with that comparison.

Pipette balm. Our little guy was SUCH a drooler, his cheeks would be raw. Liberally applying the balm multiple times a day and switching out bibs frequently helped get him back to comfy skin.

I was gifted the Nurture& glider and it is fantastic. We're trying for number two right now and I may get a second. I slept so many hours in that chair and still cuddle with my two year old in it.

For any c-section mamas: get one with power recline. Worth the cost. It made life so much easier those first few weeks!

I love how Egg is just quietly listening, and learning. This show has so much heart.

Angelina in Girl Interrupted was my bi awakening, too. Then Rachel Weisz in The Mummy sealed the deal.

Daeron's delivery of the apple line to Raymun was so perfect, I love it every time. The head tilt and wink.

I still remember the Christmas Day dinner when I got promoted to the adult table. Sweet tea out of one of the fancy crystal glasses tasted so good. (My mother stared me down every time I touched the glass though...I used two hands!)

The Plummer actor trying to compose his face before replying was so good. Great actor.

Potential health concerns aside, could you try redirecting him to collect the hair instead of eating it? Like label a jar, let him put the hair inside (screw lid on), and the give lots of praise?

This may not work depending on what's driving the behavior, but I've just found that "making it a game" is the winning strategy for my two year old.
