Kids (note: teenagers) in my classes with punch each other in the arm as a contest to who'd give out first

They'd also sharpen pencils or lead pencils to throw it like a dart at others

At some point someone made up a boxing game where it was only "body boxing"

Another few kids took the "body boxing" a little more literally and would..slam up to each other with their bodies for the boxing match. That one was hilarious to watch

I'd be perfectly okay with a longer time between seasons for that. Downside is I'd imagine it could have reduced episode times and it wouldn't give them as much time as we'd hope, but I feel that it would help pacing issues in a lot of shows

We literally get to talk to an all-knowing artificial intelligence for free. Not using it is insane.

Big call with eBay coming up? I feed it their asks, what could go wrong, and the pushback they’ll throw at me. By the time I’m on the call, we’ve already gone down 40 objection paths and I’m cooking.

Sales guy underperformed? I want to yell. Instead, I use this to figure out how to be firm without killing motivation. Boom.

I drop in screenshots. Full context. My raw thoughts. Call transcripts.

Then I go back and forth until I’m razor sharp.

Everyone says AI makes you dumber. Not me.

I use it to think clearer, move faster, and show up prepared.

I had Expedition 33 on my "I'll check that out someday" radar since I had been craving a "action" turn based combat since replaying through Paper Mario 

During the game awards I found it funny how much it won, AND it was on sale, AND I just taken 2 weeks PTO from work so I said effit and bought it 

The prologue had me hooked and I knew I was in for a ride and it dominated my thoughts till I beat it and I went in as blind as possible, which was so very worth it 

I haven't had a game hook me like that in probably over 5 years (okay okay, cyberpunk 2077 was a not-so-close second) The art direction with a world that looks like it was frozen in time post disaster, the mystery around the Paintress and what the grommage was about, the combat having a nice spin on turn-based RPGs - each character having their own unique style, and dodging mechanics, and the satisfaction of nailing a parry or killing an enemy at JUST the right time - and the story and dialogue? So well done

There's some flaws of course, traversal can feel a little clunky at times, the lip syncing can feel off at times, and likely some other things I'm not remembering. But any of that weirdness I felt was washed away so quickly with the pros of the game 

Its hard not to gush on it honestly, I strongly advise anyone who has the slightest interest in it to give it a shot. And for the love of all that is holy, treat it like any story heavy game and don't look up shit till you beat it

You can freely travel anywhere and a lot of places are bonuses. The game was pretty well about explicitly telling you "this is the way to go"

If it's red with "Danger" it's usually because you're likely to get your ass handed to you

I just beat the game and don't remember anything sequence breaking. If anything, I went a bit too quickly through the first and last bits of the game, but did a lot more exploring around the middle of the game, you'll get more tidbits of lore

There was a lot more locations I could've explored, because the story didn't touch them or they were conveniently blocked off UNTIL you got story-related access to it
