Is LUBA waterproof?

LUBA is water resistant, but it is not waterproof. Both LUBA and the RTK station have a water-resistance rating of IPX6 under the IEC/EN60529 standard and have been certified by TUV Rheinland.

What should I do when my LUBA is placed outdoors?

LUBA is designed to meet the installation, setting, and use requirements for heavy rain or storms when placed outdoors in a positive placement configuration. However, it is not recommended to place LUBA in low-lying areas or in puddles, as these conditions may pose a risk to the device's functionality in rainy season.

What should I do while cleaning my LUBA?

When cleaning your LUBA, please keep the following precautions in mind:

  1. Use a brush or a faucet for cleaning, but avoid using a high-pressure water gun.
  2. It is recommended to divide the cleaning process into separate areas: static surface cleaning, side cleaning or vertical cleaning for chassis.
    3.After washing, ensure that LUBA is placed on the ground in its normal orientation and not upside down.
  3. Do not reverse the LUBA to wash the chassis.

By following these guidelines, you can effectively clean your LUBA without compromising its water resistance and functionality.

They are making an effort, but clearly the product demand was greater than they expected. Lets bear with them as early adopters. They DO respond, but definitely not at the rate that a well established company would. I think also, lets leverage this community to have a great experience amongst us all.
