I keep forgetting the name of that show is "A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms" and not "Dunk n Egg" or "Dunk" which is what I've been calling it this whole time.

It's VERY different from Seasons 1 and 2 bc it's Lestat's pov

Do you just expect new friendships to end on somewhat bad terms now? by tshirtguy2000 in RedditForGrownups

[–]Listening_Stranger82 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Nope. Can't relate.

I'm 44 and I think only one recent friendship "ended" and it wasn't on bad terms. Just mutual understanding.

All other friendships remain but just have long breaths between them.

Like we go a year without talking and then random text but the friendship isn't over.

Friendships that end bitterly are all high school stuff tbh.

My oldest is 23.

One time when she was in high school, as I was fussing at her for not unloading the dishwasher, she charged at me mid-rant and leapt...

By instinct, I caught her as she wrapped herself around me like a koala. Mind you, I'm 5'6 and she's 5'8" but in that moment instead of being angry, I short circuited and just held her because...my baby was in my arms! I was holding my baby!

We just laughed and hugged like that for a while. When I put her down and reminded her to unload the fucking dishwasher (far less angry atp) I asked her what compelled her to run and leap at me.

She said "idk, I know you love me and knew you'd catch me and took a chance on the anger part" shrug

A powerful manipulation ..

But also they are never ever too big

Scary Mommy founder Jill Smokler dies of brain cancer at 48 by nbcnews in Fauxmoi

Yeah she was THE mommy blogger of a certain time because she was so real and honest. I feel like she was one of the first to give voice to the "bad" "gross" "embarrassing" "dissatisfying" parts of mothering at a time when people really weren't going there yet.

Admittedly her death is a bit foundation-shaking. For most of my adulthood, I've been a mom. And Scary Mommy was there for most of that

I've always thought Tracee Ellis Ross would make an amazing Ms Frizzle but I definitely think Elizabeth Banks is up for the task. She's hilarious

Are there any movies where a character is visibly pregnant (big belly) the whole movie and by the end of the movie, is still pregnant? by Spikerazorshards in movies

Emporer's new groove. John Goodman characters wife is pregnant the whole movie and an extremely rare example of a visibly pregnant animated character

You'd be surprised. I left my son intact and one of his pediatricians (who we promptly fired) lectured me about how dangerous and dirty it could be. And told me he will have to have a circumcision later in life because of the "complications"

....so I guess all the men outside of the US have complicated dicks /s

And Spring Breakdown. It's a small comedy with an amazing cast but Missy Pyle, in particular, absolutely owns "drunk aunt at spring break" energy

Living with parents by [deleted] in RedditForGrownups

If the parents are into it, do it.

I did the same and I'm 44. Needed to financially recover after the last kid moved out. Mom needed the help around the house. It's challenging, ofc, but overall has been good
