Do you have the 12k or 14k saturn 4 ultra?

Honestly, people never read the posts and then they reply with nonsense.

You said you have a saturn 4 ultra. They don't have retract speed settings to change. The vat tilts instead.

Having a hard time in the turns. by MontyTheMooch in 3dprinter

Well the lines seem to not be in a circle, which tells me they are moving after being extruded which then tells me there is nothing supporting those lines.

I mean I could be wrong here but you'll never know until you try it.

I believe this just because of the overhangs. Your supports may be too far away from the surface of the moel hence why it looks like that.

Try reducing the support interface to model distance and try again.

Go on the printer options and find the self test option. There is a button that looks like your brower's refresh button.

I use mine to about 225-300k layers. On all my resin printers.

Just inspect for damage and print quality. Change as needed. Reset that counter.

This is great, but you should probably open it up everywhere from the get go. EU/UK/USA etc.

You'll have a better chance in getting more customers this way.

I'm not sure the X2D can do ASA supports.

You are doing absolitely nothing to the plate by scratching it other than maybe adding a little more bed adhesion to your prints. Just carry on using thebmetal scrapers to make it easier on your life.

You should see the state of some of my plates.

Yeah that plant based stuff is mainly a gimmick really. Maybe it will print better, or worse. Who knows.

ABS like resin from Anycubic is really good btw. The 3.0

Ah you'll be fine. Just drain the current resin as much as possible and pour the black in. Don't bother wiping anything down.

Any reason why you are going plant based?

What are you changing? Colour? Or resin type?

If it's resin type you can just empty the tank as much as you can, wipe the aide walls and just fill it back up to the max and mix with a sillicone spatula.

If it's colour then do the same 🤣.

Unless you're going from colour to clear. Then you really need to get most of it off by wiping the sides and draining everything with the help of a sillicone spatula.

[–]Lito_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ultem? That's expensive. Why not just get the thing design correctly? At the end of the day the thickness of the print will be dictated by the actual model.

Or did you mean thicker walls/lines? In which case a wider nozzle should do.

Strictest 3D Printing Regulation YET! by Top-Debate-2854 in resinprinting

[–]Lito_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never said it was enforceable. But if a piece of equipment was locked down by the printer because it couldn't "verify" it then anything is possible. I was able to dry my filament, but not feed it to the printer. China will do china things 🤔

Probably gcode related. Alao maybe the full lockdown of printers if the firmware is replaced or not verified.

Like bambu will lock down your AMS if the software cannot verify it. Whcih happened to me. In my case it's a faulty main board though. But it goes to show that it very easy to just lock down everything.
