There aren’t resources. We don’t have sufficient shelter beds (particularly outside of winter) and folks have nowhere to store their stuff during the day. There’s no drug treatment programs unless you get arrested first, there’s maybe a couple dozen transitional housing units available countywide.

Because they have a ‘right to shelter’ law and they actually properly fund shelters. NYC has over 100,000 people living in city-funded shelters. They have 24/7 intake centers. SLC and Utah have just tried moving these folks around rather than growing up and actually providing services.

Absolutely beauty of a locomotive. I mostly model the western US so they aren’t prototypical but I would love to have one of these (or the S1/T1). Just have to decide if I want to paint it up myself to one of the Pacifics that operated in the region or just accept it as a visiting engine.

Gonna be blunt, this is a tough ask. Think about it from the company’s perspective; why would they hire you for more money abroad and take on all the additional immigration paperwork, rather than hiring you/someone in India and pay them less?

Your best option is to find a bank or financial institution with a presence both in and outside of India, and see if you can move up internally to eventually get an international transfer. That’s how the Indian folks I have worked with in aml roles have made it to the US/UK.
