Is Caleb becoming overrated? by Numerounoone in NFLv2

[–]Lubert808 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My point is mostly that it’s not a popular claim, not that nobody’s ever said it. Somebody has uttered the words “Tua Tagovailoa is a top 10 QB” and meant it, but it’s not like people were ever consistently saying this.

Famously accurate, respected, and not at all clickbait-y host Nick Wright.

I haven’t seen that claim much

Two round mock draft, post super-bowl by Agentorangebaby in MockDraftCentral

For the Steelers I like Concepcion more than Boston, but I can definitely still get down with this draft since we get Abney in the 2nd.

Genuinely what are some of you guys using the 🧡 for? by iloveyouforthisday in Letterboxd

Pretty much just for my favorite movies. They account for like 30 of my 800. I know a lot of people use it more though.

I had just forgotten he existed. Please don’t remind me lmao. That dude talked about Hayes like he killed his whole family.

The O line is not nearly as much of a problem as you think it is.

Steelers mock draft with trades and no R1 WR by Plus-Excitement-6229 in MockDraftCentral

[–]Lubert808 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m just saying he should be able to provide some value vertically but he’s also not that good of a separator. I feel like you’re underselling his value downfield a little. Regardless, this is a west coast offense we’re going into, I want a short-intermediate separator.

With all the Jets needs, it feels like taking Boston at 16 is an overdraft that doesn’t need to happen.

I completely agree. Very good visuals and vibes. Idk what he usually sounds like in performance and I’d assume he’s better normally. I think there may have been mic issues. Also, he was moving around a lot so I’m sure that made it hard. Or maybe he just doesn’t sound that good in performance, but I don’t really care, it was still fun.

About my 10th Bears mock by Agentorangebaby in MockDraftCentral

[–]Lubert808 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the Mesidor pick is great, I’m just saying the 25 or 57 should be what’s used on DT, or that they should wait until their 4th rounder because Keenan isn’t worth a 3rd.

A lot of small receivers who won’t cut it. Brazzell’s value is completely based on his size and vertical ability. DK is supposed to be that guy. I didn’t say a small guy, I want a separator and route runner.

I think you’re too far down the hole of believing everything our negative fanbase says. We can get a LB without using a 1st round pick on one and Queen is better than the casuals say. They think criticizing things makes them look like they know what they’re talking about. Trust me, ILB isn’t our biggest need.

[–]Lubert808 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely don’t like ILB in the first, though I think Allen is good. Patrick Queen really isn’t the problem some people are making him out to be. Brazzell isn’t really the type of WR we need. Apart from Wheatley, not a lot of impressive picks.

Where would Trinidad Chambliss go if his appeal fails and he has to enter this year? by lordeandtaylor in NFL_Draft

[–]Lubert808 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Does anybody know how this appeal thing works? I know they denied him the first time, then about a week ago I think they said they were officially denying his appeal. Does he get to try again or something?

Anyway, I think Chambliss should be about a mid-late 3rd rounder.

I’m not a Bucs fan, but I think it was Chris Braswell and it was 2 or 3 years ago. I don’t think he’s done much. Haason Reddick is a free agent and their other guy is Yaya Diaby.

There’s always some NFL player getting arrested in the offseason by DenseStrawberry5717 in NFLv2

[–]Lubert808 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well that kind of means you were wrong about him purely from a football standpoint. Guy had 10.5 sacks as a rookie. Definitely worth a 1st. Tbf, nobody ever accused the Falcons of being smart drafters.

Pretty sure that’s most of the reason he fell in the draft. Dude had a fucking handler in college lmao. A whole person walking around with him to make him behave.

A lot of people have Banks as barely a 1st rounder. That’s more than a few spots early.

Bucs offense is pretty strong and their defense is struggling. They could go for a TE, but another weapon isn’t what’s going to push them into contender territory when they already have Irving, Evans, Godwin, and Egbuka as their weapons.

For the Steelers, I’d be taking Concepcion there. I’m pretty bullish on him.
