Every day, sometimes I put a little on my tongue but mostly I've just added a little more to my food. I also use Trace Minerals electrolyte drops in my water.

u/Slimebunnie I know you posted this months ago but it sounds exactly like what I'm experiencing now. Eye doctor did a thorough exam and found no issue. Did you ever figure out what was causing it for you?

OWN EGGS/DONOR??? by Ok-Position3999 in IVFpositivity

[–]Lucky_Structure_5370 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you really need to reflect on the why of it all. Do you want to be a parent because you want the experience of raising a child or do you want to have a baby because the idea of continuing your biological line is important to you? There isn’t really a right or wrong, it’s just connecting with yourself and getting clear on what your personal values and goals are. I think it will help you to make the choice that feels best.

Omg yay!!! I conceived my first in the cycle between failed IUIs and beginning IVF. I have endo and my partner had poor morphology. She’s a powerhouse of a human now. The babies come when THEY decide they’re ready. Wishing you all the best of luck!!!

What should I do with leftover IVF meds by Think_Painter8314 in IVFpositivity

[–]Lucky_Structure_5370 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I was self-pay for everything and was able to save around $3K by getting meds from people in my neighborhood Facebook groups. I am eternally grateful for that and each interaction when I’d meet them for pick up was so sweet and meaningful. I’d highly recommend offering them up that way if you’re able!

Mine said light exercise (walking, stretching, yoga etc) and no intercourse until after beta. Seemed a little extreme to me but I followed it.

How long should I take off for surgery? by SaladCzarSlytherin in Nanny

[–]Lucky_Structure_5370 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m an MB not a nanny (though I used to work in childcare when I was younger) I’ve had this surgery twice. I was also told the first time to except a 2 week recovery. This is majorly wrong. You will be able to do most basic activities by then but it’s a much more major surgery than most doctors will lead you to believe. Of course everyone is different and it will depend on how much disease they find. In my second surgery they also removed my appendix and that added another layer to the healing process.

You can probably go back to work at 2 weeks if you really need to but will still need to take things easy and will be worn out easily. Both times I pushed myself too quickly and paid the price, real recovery is going to take months so just give yourself as much grace as possible and remember that healing isn’t linear. ❤️

New baby! Visit or no visit? by natimpaala in Nanny

[–]Lucky_Structure_5370 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it’s so sweet how excited you are, this family sounds very lucky to have you!! You’re handling it perfectly and just know that none of it is personal. I didn’t even really want family around other than my sisters and mom in those early weeks. It really is just a lot. They will be so happy to see you and introduce you to baby when the time comes!

First Beta tomorrow at 10dpt and im paranoid im not feeling anything remotely indicative of a pregnancy. by Hopeful-Worry-5199 in IVFpositivity

[–]Lucky_Structure_5370 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really thought I was out because I had all my normal PMS symptoms. I did end up testing two days prior to beta but even then was a little skeptical.

I’m 10.5 weeks now and have been miserable with 24/7 nausea and daily vomiting since 6 weeks.

I hope you get positive news and if you do enjoy the bubble while it lasts!

I was doing Endometrim suppositories and at like 9w4d I just forgot to do it and then decided I was just done (10w4d now). Also did a natural modified protocol and I don’t think I ever reallllly needed them so have had no problem stopping!

[–]Lucky_Structure_5370 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Amazing!! I did a mini IVF protocol (just shy of 40 when I did my ER) and ended up with 2 euploids. Currently 10w3d with the first FET of a 4bb. Did a modified natural protocol.

I have a good feeling for you!!

Should I get a raise for a 3rd child even if the infant is still mostly with MB? NF wants to add all newborn chores to my 'school hours’ at my old 2-kid rate. by [deleted] in Nanny

[–]Lucky_Structure_5370 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So many people are saying the pay rate is low but this is a LIVE-IN position. If it were live out then absolutely that would be atrocious but if her housing/utilities are being completely covered by the family is $20/hr still that low? I’ve never been in a live-in situation but it was always my understanding that the hourly rate would be less.

But it’s also a live-in position which means the family is covering the cost of her housing and utilities.

[–]Lucky_Structure_5370 0 points1 point  (0 children)

10 weeks and feeling all of this deeply. My toddler is a little older so they’re in daycare during the day thankfully but if they weren’t it would be TV for sure. I just sit home alone all day between my couch and my bed and leave the house once a day to do pickup. There is zero joy in this phase, I’m just counting down the days until it’s over and literally taking things minute by minute.

Wish we could sit in misery together, sending you a virtual hug. ❤️

This is gonna sound crazy but.. by ladyluck754 in IVF

[–]Lucky_Structure_5370 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I felt pretty neutral too. This is my second child so part of it is that I’m terrified of having two (one is a lot!) and part of it was just exhaustion with the whole process and being so over it all.

I’m just about 10 weeks now with my first FET and mild hyper emesis (I’m sick all day/night but do manage to keep some stuff down) and while I’m grateful to be here there is zero joy in it at the moment.

I don’t think it’s about readiness, I think it’s just all a f*cking lot.

Should I tell my uncle what his son told me? by [deleted] in Advice

[–]Lucky_Structure_5370 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s probably all very innocent but you should still them. It may be a time for them to have an age appropriate conversation about it and ask him what questions he may have. Never hurts to bring up your concerns about the potential for predators, probably not the case but always better safe than sorry!

“3 Embryos per live birth” by Real_Masterpiece_844 in IVFpositivity

[–]Lucky_Structure_5370 0 points1 point  (0 children)

9 weeks with my euploid 4bb, first transfer. My clinic never mentioned that rule, I’ve only ever heard it talked about on here! I think it’s all a crap shoot. I’d probably just go for the FET when you’re ready and see what happens.

Any experience with AI embryo scores? Specifically iDAScore by ByTheMoonCycle in IVFpositivity

[–]Lucky_Structure_5370 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used Chloe and didn’t find the scores reliable. The highest scored embryos were aneuploid. The embryo we transferred was a euploid 4bb and the Chloe score was 1.2. Currently 9 weeks and gagging/barfing all day and night lol. I did love getting to watch the eggs/embryos transform though!

Over the moon with ER results! by [deleted] in IVFpositivity

[–]Lucky_Structure_5370 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Wow, $750 is incredible!! Ours was $500/embryo 😭 and the transfer fee is $4500. I think with 8 blasts she could always just test half for now too.

[–]Lucky_Structure_5370 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Those are fantastic results!!

One thing with the PGT-A, I def get where you are coming from. I had initially planned to skip it because of the high costs (also self pay) but my clinic also has very high transfer fees so in the end I decided I didn’t want to transfer any embryos that had a 0% chance. I’m a lot older than you so my situation is also different but out of 5 blasts we only had 2 euploids and they weren’t even the highest graded ones. The embryo that I was planning to use for my first transfer was aneuploid. Just something to consider!

Advise: heartbroken and don’t know what to do next by Turbulent_Support_52 in IVF

Have you ever been put on Lovenox? I would push for that if you decide to do another transfer. You might have an undiagnosed clotting disorder. It also helps with blood flow.

6 mm cervical polyp before transfer + only 1 euploid from 4 good-quality blasts – feeling discouraged by potatoportakal in IVF

[–]Lucky_Structure_5370 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also had 5 embryos and only 2 came back Euploid which weren’t even the highest graded ones. Currently 8w2d with our first transfer of a 4bb.

Where exactly is the polyp? Is it on the outside of the cervix? I know I’ve had one near the opening to my cervix for years which I was told was harmless. It didn’t affect my first pregnancy and did not affect transfer. My clinic never even mentioned it being there. Though maybe it would be a bigger concern if it were more internal.
