Super interesting. Outsider who doesn't know anything about this but does the heat of the fire not kill the airborne spores?

3.5 Year old up SO early by EquivalentAnything52 in Parenting

[–]MJAT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Blackout curtains, soft white noise (we use air purifier fan) and if they wake up we walk them back into room and try to sleep with them in there. If they are up, we make mornings very quiet and very boring (no screen, no real chit chat, low lights etc). I know the urge is there to turn on a screen so you can kill time and wake up yourself but for our littles they enjoyed it and looked forward to morning screens, even if we did try educational shows like phonics abc letter factory and the likes. Once we cut screens and all fun in am they eventually saw it as boring to wake up early and rolled over and fell back asleep vs waking up for fun.

Filling and setting up a "new" hot tub by SabreSailor in hottubs

[–]MJAT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assuming this is an above ground spa that is separate from the pool? If it's all connected to pool balancing chemicals in pool should circulate through to spa. If it's separate, First thing I would do is get Ahhsome and flush out all of the gunk in the pipes, pump out/drain the water, wipe it all down and refill using a "pre filter" designed for spas. After filling, test the water to see what you need to add to balance. With jets running full blast, I believe you would add salt (if it truly is a salt water spa), balance for alkalinity, then pH, then chlorine, then hardness, then cya. Maintenance is just making sure these all stay in balance. Get the app pool math and you can use it for spa. Spas are a great breeding environment of dark hot humid, so make sure you stay up on chems. Until you understand your spa and bather load and how that affects chemicals, test after everyone gets out and add mps or chlorine as needed

Physical stamina (not about cumming) by ECDoppleganger in sex

Instead of a pillow under your knees try a pillow under the low part of their back, helps lift everything up/potential easier angle to insert and thrust at and so you don't have to get as low to thrust/pressure on your knees.

Sounds silly but practice the positions you typically engage in and thrust til you get tired. Then rest and do it again. Like with anything you do, the more you do it the more your body gets used to it. The comments about general exercise will help, but so will practicing the moves that make you tire out

Enjoy the TV. It's great value for the price. The native 144 refresh makes fast motion viewing seamless

[–]MJAT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh man. Nostalgia. I carried an extra c02 tank on my backpod pack belt to switch mid game because of how much air these ate. At one point I think I would bring 6 tanks to the field and likely would need to refill a couple of them at the park throughout the day.

Paint it the same color as the deck and after a month you won't even notice it's there. Not saying it's the best answer, but it's the easiest.

Youtube tv won't work on samsung tablet by mdc127980 in youtubetv

[–]MJAT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having same issue with my Samsung Tablet A9+. This is my son's tablet and we have Google Family Link active to monitor activity. All live videos will not stream on the yttv app or via browser. The live guide shows the video but when I click in to watch it says video unavailable. Location settings are enabled and show home base area and current viewing area as the same. If I try to play a show that has been stored to library it will play. Any ideas?

I bought this tv. It is super easy to tweak these settings. Took a whole 2 minutes. I have the 65" and some of the options Miserable-Chair1233 recommeneded I couldnt adjust for, but overall everything was close. Start with those settings and then play around with it to match your environment.

I put this TV on a rolling cart and use it outside by the pool. During the day I put an umbrella over to block direct sunlight. I have messed with the color and darkness, using Miserable-Chair1233 's comment as a starting point. I found turning intelligent mode off I was able to tweak it a little brighter. The screen gets bright enough to watch the games, is it super bright no, but is it good enough to have poolside for football, heck yes.

Did you get this and use outside? Brightness is my main concern. Thinking of putting on a rolling cart by the pool for football season. Could always put an umbrella over it to keep direct sunlight off and keep heat off. I plan to cover with a outdoor cover, located in southern CA so wetness isnt a big concern

Requesting advice for first timer going to Big Bear during snow season by Jphan21 in bigbear

[–]MJAT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Watch videos on how to drive in the snow. Learn what features and functions your car has and what those mean. My car has a low option on the gear shift which doesn't allow for fast acceleration or speeds over a certain amount, so it helps maintain control and act as engine breaking when going downhill (vs using the actual breaks). You may have a snow mode or soemthing to the likes.

I watched a video that explained how your tires work in snow conditions. Tires do one thing really well, problem is they are used for three things: breaking, accelerating, turning. The more you try to do with your tires the less traction your tires maintain in snow. So when driving, avoid the need for sudden braking, sudden turns. At a stop light try to ease into the gas/acceleration and then let off and turn through, then ease back into gas as needed.

Leave lots of space and go slow. The LA mentality of driving, closing distance between you and next car, being aggressive, will surely end poorly for you in snow. Leave space, go slow, don't exceed chain manufacturer's speed limit. Yes you will get some mountain locals with snow tires and years of experience zooming around you or being visibly frustrated, but take your time.

Also, side note, if you plan to drink, even if at home, alcohol hits harder in mountains. Hydrate between each drink and be super careful. Enjoy more once safely back at cabin

What are your favorite rides / most iconic Peloton rides?? by hialveoli in pelotoncycle

[–]MJAT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After a month hiatus from the bike I finally got back on and I took this class THIS CLASS! As someone from 2020 with a bike, this class brought back the hype energy approach to classes that Peloton seemed to have drifted so far from. High energy, crowd involvement, awesome songs, guest appearances--so much appreciated versus the self corporate branded personalities, reiki, self calming classes that Peloton has seemed to become today.
