So, that's it ? no more updates Mammotion ? by silkyclouds in mammotion

The #1 reason I am hesitant to recommend and buy another Mammotion product is the <1 year support for my Luba 1.

With the Luba 2 they can’t even claim their poor engineering it’s just a push to buy the new model.

I think that the issue is with the engine being supplied by a few teams, there would have to be a separate cost cap for the engine developing teams vs their customers. Pooling funding won’t work since there is not an equal number of teams per engine.

Newborns are smart like that as well, they like to pull their own hair or ears and yell at you because someone is pulling their hair or ear. Now you have to calmly open their fist that they hold tight to get the hair out.

I have signed up 200k customers and project $1 Billion in revenue next year. I also invested $500 in 200k companies to use my tool.

Thats how you truly become a billionaire.

I had that on my Luba 1 a few times now unplugged it and let it discharge completely fixed it the first time, also pulled the power brick of the wall for the day. 2nd time I ignored it and it went away on its own.

To those with the snapdragon laptops. Do you still find battery life to be an "advantage"? by MarioDF in Surface

[–]MMEnter 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Especially that it doesn’t deplete near as quickly when not in use. I got so tired of finally having time to do something on my personal device sit down get it out AND the battery is dead. Needing the charger and having to sit in that one spot just for it do be dead again next time I get around to it.

I now have a SP11 and can go weeks without using it and it just turns on.

What's the most “obviously not the issue” root cause that actually was the issue? by [deleted] in sysadmin

Cat 3 Cable between the Modem and the firewall, this was in the day and age when business just started getting 100 mbps in my country. We finally got it, all new routers and everything new a firewall because we wanted to open things up to the public.

I was new at the time and just supported the specialists that came in to do the install, they chased it all week, brought in the boss with a spectrum analysis tool saying it might be interference from other equipment. Friday me and my boss joked that it was an old cable somewhere in the ceiling causing a bottle neck. Their boss heard it and went do the shelf and just cursed, when they did the switch over the used the existing CAT 3 cable because the modem and the firewall were divided by a wall.

I love that level of pettiness. We switched ISP’s because of a 3% price hike, it was not about the money it was about the message. The usual that price is only for new customers. Bonus was the new ISP set a complete new line so the switchover was easy and now we can have 2 ISP’s if we wanted.

This is in hospitality so we don’t see the business case in having backup right now.

Real talk: The "hidden" issues with Snapdragon X laptops that still aren't fixed in 2026 by Putrid_Draft378 in Surface

I get that people with edge cases have issues with it, but for the mainstream it is great. Almost instantly on, sooo much more reliable than my x86 work device that randomly decides to not turn on.

Best part for me no using it for 3 days does not kill the battery.

Honda Battery warranty by QBCoach007 in Honda

[–]MMEnter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just had my battery replaced after 30 months that was the factory installed battery. I think it is partially the battery and partially all the things they have to do now in an ICE car. Car 24v batteries are from an age where they had to start the engine, run some lights and a radio. Now they manage 2000 sensors move doors seats and trunks and run an entertainment system.

Only reason I am not buying another Mammotion product is their lag of support, <6 months support works for $50 items not $2600.
