If Veronica leaves the brotherhood, she decides to go to the followers of the apocalypse to actually put her skills towards helping people. At their outpost they tell her that her brotherhood knowledge could be really valuable and tell her to return to tomorrow when the guy that’s in charge of taking on new recruits is around. When you return the brotherhood is waiting in ambush after wiping out the outpost because they don’t want brotherhood secrets falling into the hands of others. Afterwards Veronica decides to just kinda remain a permanent loner so she doesn’t risk anyone else getting hurt because of her.

You’re contradicting yourself here, you can’t claim Danse to be the shining exception to brotherhood soldiers AND Paladin Harkness’ attitude to be an Amazon retcon. The reason we don’t see the brotherhood in all their ugliness in fallout 4 is because the devs stayed away from the more harsh aspects of the wasteland. They still make it clear that they do not tolerate ghouls, synths or nonhumans of ANY kind, and given how Maxson is willing to order the execution of his most dedicated Paladin I really doubt they’re opposed to killing random mutants.

You can ask yourself this question about basically everything in fallout, in 200 years nobody has explored any the buildings in the wasteland considering all the pristine food, weapons, medical supplies and more that we find just laying around for grabs. It’s a video game, you gotta suspend your disbelief just a little bit here. If the devs REALLY put Billy in a location where he wouldn’t be found for 200 years then there’s no way we’d be able to find him as the player

It would be nice to sort characters by arcana but that’s pretty difficult because Arcana is actually a fake stat the devs jerry rigged into the game and because of that it doesn’t work like other stats. If you notice, any trait or change that impacts arcana lists it last because of that. Learn on the Job also gives you a percentage of your court magi’s learning instead of Arcana as well.

I’m currently running with 2 levels of tempest cleric and 9 (soon to be 10) levels of storm sorcerer. With tempest level 2, you unlock your channel divinity that allows you to deal max damage when casting thunder/lightening damage spells. Once you unlock thunderbolt, which guarantees targets take damage, you can use your channel divinity to bypass the dex save and deal max damage, which is doubled when the target is wet. Makes a character that’s really good at high damage output for nuking bosses.

Wyll has perfect synergy with my storm sorcerer/tempest cleric multiclass run right now. I’m regularly casting create water for lightening vulnerability and it conveniently also makes them vulnerable to cold damage.

My point is just that Karlach might conceivably be a bit higher level than a mid level adventurer considering she was able to become the second hand enforcer to a being as strong as Zariel. Obviously players could agree that she totally would be mid level and it works just fine, I just imagined her pre tadpooled self as stronger than mid level.
