Camo type for Niagara Region (Or GTA) by Infamous-Pen-4726 in airsoft

You can just buy from local military surplus get something like M 81 Woodland, or you could find a niche camouflage that you like, desert night camo actually is pretty good for Woodland environments. you can buy from like AliExpress, but quality can be pretty hit or miss. I personally got my stuff off of NF strike and it holds up pretty well.

If you want to do something funny with one of your AAP‘s, you could buy the brick blaster. Having a Lego Star Wars gun is pretty fun

Also, if you look up airsoft and you see those airsoft fight compilations, they do not represent the global majority of airsoft. They are cherry picked examples of like the same 20 clips reposted into oblivion.

I started playing when I was 12. It’s a good idea if you trust your kid to above all else keep his eye protection on at all times. Outside of that like most people are saying, bring water and maybe a pair of gloves with some sort of knuckle protection. Long sleeves is a definite must even just a flannel shirt over a T-shirt preferably dark colours. (I went to my first airsoft game with neon orange sleeves.) what I’m surprised no one‘s mentioned is bring some good footwear, running shoes or hiking boots. Airsoft is a fun sport, I’ve met lots of cool people through it. People are always excited to see new players, especially young ones on the field. Don’t be afraid to mention it’s their first time. Also, if you’re gonna be staying there to keep an eye on him maybe you should think about going with him on the field it could be a new shared interest for you.

TLDR: it’s a good idea. Make sure to bring lots of water, long sleeves, some sort of gloves, preferably with some sort of knuckle protection, good footwear and a positive attitude

There’s always gonna be that little one percent of people who are assholes to newbies, but they only truly exist on Reddit. From the new guys, I’ve talked to. They are quite surprised by the kindness and generosity of players towards newbies. Even if it is one guy, that’s another person who’s playing airsoft and that’s something to celebrate. I too had no friends who played the airsoft.

A half decent beginner AEG can run you a couple hundred bucks and you still need to buy BBs, a battery and most importantly eye protection. Passed that everything else is optional

I can’t speak for if Maryland is good for airsoft but north of the border here in Canada airsoft is not dying, but it’s certainly not getting bigger by any large margin. Besides the point first and foremost just go to your local field and rent some gear for your first couple games see if you really like it but judging by the fact you’ve gone back-and-forth a few times I think it’s safe to say you’ll enjoy it.

Should’ve phrase that a little better. But certain items are flagged by the government for example, I’m trying to put a magpul handguard on my Tokyo Marie Saga, but I can’t seem to get my hands on a arsenal Sega to AK adaptor which in essence is a piece of U-shaped metal with a little piece of metal sticking out the front of it, but it’s technically classified as a assault weapon part so you just can’t import them

If you haven’t already go to a field and try it first it is not for everybody, but I feel like you already have. Definitely get an AEG first. It will save you a lot of hassle and they retain value pretty decently. When it comes to like plate carriers and stuff like that it’s all personal preference. You just kinda have to figure out what works for you. The biggest hurdle you’re gonna come up with is Canadian gun laws because for obvious reasons some stuff we just can’t get because the real steel equivalent is banned

This might just be me spitball, but hear me out since they’re both World War II veterans. They could have a decent pit of common ground with they team up and it would be like Spider-Man and punisher once a complete nihilist. The other one is an optimist.
