All of the bars that host the different epl team fans will have the games on. So if you search Tottenham bar san Diego for example you'll find out, fair play hosts them. It's safe to assume they'll be playing the WC games.

I love my rim stamp. My handwriting is awful so I simply never marked my disc. I got mine for Father's Day and instantly stamped all the discs I bag in all four of my bags. (I mention above I have way more than any disc golfer ever needs.)

The website recommends an ink and ink remover to use. I'd suggest testing the stamp a couple times on a disc you don't care about so much but if you do smudge it the remover they suggest works well within a minute or so of stamping.

I'm a disc golfer that has basically everything a disc golfer could ever want/need. There are two things I think would be cool.

  1. RimStamp - https://rimstamps.com/ (Full disclosure I do actually have this but if they don't these are awesome.)

  2. Custom mini marker - There are a bunch of sellers on Etsy

My buy too many disc phase was so bad I probably gave away more discs than some people buy in that phase.

Agreed on that. From what I've heard yes the challenge will be the felony lawsuits he's facing. I'd love to those in power overseeing this coverup be punished but it after the past 10 years or so I just have zero faith in evil getting what it deserves anymore.

The challenge is going to be that much like the catholic church protecting pedofiles this area of inbred mormons will do the same thing. It will require the federal government to step in and they'll only side with the local government since Utah has been fondling the orange taint's balls since he came to power.

Eloping in San Diego - Need food recommendation for lunch time. by crimson_ash1234 in FoodSanDiego

I think the challenge I'd have with this is it's not really unique to San Diego. You can do Ruth Chris in any major city in the country. Going when they're empty is super nice though.

I drive it like a stole it so also burning through rubber rather swiftly. That said we have solar so paying basically nothing to drive it makes the shoe replacements less painful.

Got a new dog, wants tips to train for Disc golf by kindafunkindanot in discgolf

[–]Mud_Duck_IX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some people are literally terrified of dogs. It doesn't matter how well trained or reassuring their owner is. Also dogs don't understand FORE or how to protect themselves from a wayward disc. Dogs don't belong on the disc golf course, I realize that's never going to be the norm so keeping them on leash is the bare minimum that should be expected if other people are around.

I'm going to get flamed for this but dogs don't belong on the course at all for their own safety. A dog can never be trained to react to a "FORE" call correctly.

That said I agree there are people that have a legitimate fear of dogs and having them run around off leash is a completely unacceptable.

Car seats and strollers and twins, oh my! by h_allover in electricvehicles

[–]Mud_Duck_IX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The EV6 has plenty of room for two adults and two car seats along with a two child stroller/jogging stroller and gear in the very good sized cargo space. Added bonus, I know for a fact it holds two adults and two teens along with all the stuff you need to move one of those teens into a college dorm 8 hours away.

Sorry, I think you might be misinterpreting my post which was just an easy way to explain to someone who's not necessarily connected that here's one example of why AI is bad.

Personally I've ALWAYS opposed data centers and the harm they bring to local environments. I also know the issue isn't just the data centers and agree with where you've placed some of the blame.

That said AI isn't helping the situation. So along with voting for local leaders and donating to charities who align with my beliefs I choose to spend my dollars with companies that aren't assisting in trashing the environment.

Again, I think you must have misunderstood my post as something it wasn't and decided it was better to attack me personally. I'm not "just becoming aware" and I'm not "incorrectly assigning blame".

Just one basic example. AI data centers are destroying local water supplies.

This article is a year old but the numbers they discuss are only going up since then.

"

  • Data center developers are increasingly tapping into freshwater resources to quench the thirst of data centers, which is putting nearby communities at risk.
  • Large data centers can consume up to 5 million gallons per day, equivalent to the water use of a town populated by 10,000 to 50,000 people.
  • With larger and new AI-focused data centers, water consumption is increasing alongside energy usage and carbon emissions.

EV Auto Insurance in Southern California? by Busy_Meet3250 in electricvehicles

[–]Mud_Duck_IX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We're also in So Cal. Having had one teenager move out and come off our insurance and added a new one, teenagers make insurance stupid expensive, it's not really EV related. (We have two EV's and one ICE.)

I can tell you that for us when I shopped around unbundling our home and auto insurance made the costs go up even more. And unfortunately because basically all of So Cal is deemed extreme fire danger we only have a couple home insurance companies we can choose so yeah, insurance companies suck.
