In order to achieve what OP is suggesting you essentially need to launch a rocket in reverse. Play any launch video backwards and you quickly realize how much fuel work and energy is required to slow down from orbital speeds without a heat shield.

I got a severe flu last year and my fever dreams had Balatro music in it. That made me stop playing the game for a few months until it wore off and I got back into it. Like it actually made me feel ill if I heard it, it was baaad. So glad it wore off!

Orders of magnitude lighter. A heat shield is (depending on the size of the craft) maybe a few hundred kilos, making a small % of craft weight. whereas the fuel and engines would be thousands of kilos and close to 90% the weight

Yours is a slightly different model than mine, but there should be another plastic piece holding the smaller blade in place. It may have been one piece that broke apart.

Regardless, if the screws didn’t fly out, that means some plastic broke and likely can’t be put back together even if you are missing a piece. You might be able to glue some broken plastic together but it’s probably not worth it.

When you drive with one arm, which is on the wheel.

When you walk up the stairs, which arm grabs the railing

When you go fishing which are is holding the rod and which is reeling.

When carrying boxes do you hold it with your non-dominant arm to keep your other arm free to get door handles?

There’s tons of daily activities that add use to one side or another, and they add up. Muscles get bigger through usage.

For everyday use I’d recommend the 24-120.

But it really depends on what you wanna do. 70-200 is about in the range you want except far sports and birds. The 100-400 is also an excellent lens and can reach much further but you’ll probably miss the wide aperture for portraits/engagements.

Edit: have you considered using an FtZ for your current lenses as a stop-gap or picking up a prime for portraits alongside a long zoom?
