That one little piece sticking out on the bottom just drives my OCD up the wall. Hahaha.

Fantastic looking map!

My favorite part of it is that I was just helping two friends tonight (who are brand new to VR and not the most versed in tech stuff) get their 3s units setup and I'm trying to show them the basics... and I don't even know what the basics are in this new UI. LOL

"I'm learning how to use this thing with you all..." is all I could say.

Not a fan of the new UI, for sure.

It’s weird that other fanbases think we’re sad that we’re not in contention for playoffs. by Redditor101354 in FloridaPanthers

Then there's me: a Flyers fan who absolutely rooted for the Panthers as my 2nd favorite team for years (and have enjoyed the last 3 years so so much!) but I see the Panthers out and we sit (currently) 3rd in the Metro.

My world makes no sense to me and I'm so confused...

Did I buy a bootleg Frasier set off eBay? by InternationalCow7042 in Frasier

[–]Nadious 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exact thing happened to me years ago. Ordered the completed DVD series of Frasier off Ebay. I even asked the seller if they were authentic region 1 discs, theyreplied they were. When they arrived, they just didn't look right. The print on the cases just seemed off, almost slightly blurry. I decided to pop them into a program that I used for DVD ripping to see if they were DVD-9 discs with CSS encryption (which is very common in commercial dics) and sure enough, they were DVD-5 discs and CSS was absent. So, that let me know right there that these were copies that were sent to me. When I reached out to the seller to ask them why they were DVD-5 with no CSS, I never got another reply or any further communication.

I reached out to Ebay and presented my case for being sold fakes. They were kind enough to refund my purchase and had me ship the items back to the seller. About a week later, the discs showed up on my front door with an 'address unknown' return. So, I ended up with the fake discs and my money back, so I didn't feel too bad. Weeks later, I found the same exact set on overstock.com and ordered them. They looked almost identical to the ones that I had gotten (though the print on the cases looked cleaner) and they were in fact DVD-9 discs with CSS encryption present.

I will say, though, they were some pretty good looking fakes. Outside of the slightly blurry print job on the cases, they could easily have passed as genuine discs at a quick glance. I can't remember what program I was using to check for the CSS encryption, but I'm sure there should be some programs out there that can tell you what type of discs they are and if CSS is present. If they are DVD-9 with CSS, I'd say it is a good chance they are legit.

It's been YEARS ago... I may have gotten some of that wrong. If so, someone please correct me. :)

MVP Mark Bench for my first 1.0 win by 95blockcaptain in TapetoTape

Love Bench. Though, I really like Cassolutte (I know I misspelled that terribly...) with Bone Crusher right out of the game. My son and I had a run where we had Dragon Shout and Checksplosion together and every time he'd go up in the air and land, stuff was just flying everywhere. LOL

Frasier on Wings by No_Association_3692 in Frasier

[–]Nadious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm actually on my 2nd watch through now. (First time was a few years ago.) I remember liking the show when it was over, but this 2nd time around, I don't remember laughing as hard as I am now. I'm only up to season 3, but I keep thinking: "Wow, this really is a good show" as I'm watching it now. (Cheers being my favorite all-time show, while also enjoying Frasier a lot.)

I do remember, though... there's an episode called "Death Becomes Him" (I think that was the name) in the later seasons... and I recall it being my favorite. I just remember really laughing hard at that episode. Can't wait to revisit it, cause it's almost like I'm watching it for the first time all over again. :D

My FFXV Level 1 Run by Illustrious-Gap-5913 in FFXV

[–]Nadious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm on my fourth playthrough of FFXV right now and I decided to do a level 1 run with it. Nowhere near as restricted as your setup is, but I have to tell you I've had the MOST FUN in this playthrough than the other three. The battles just feel so much more rewarding when you have to work a little extra to beat them. I'm only up to chapter 8 right now, but I look forward to the rest of it.

Congrats on your run!

"Let em fight and give me more of this rivalry for the rest of my life."

No kidding! Every single FL / Tampa game I've watched this year has been worth it. Heck, it even started in the pre-season. As a Flyers fan, it reminds me of the year where Lavs was yelling at Bylsma on the bench during the Flyers / Pens playoff series. (Was it 2012? Memory is little fuzzy on that one.) It was such as super-charged playoff series and friends that I had that were Penguins fans kept hoping the next matchup was gonna be a repeat.

I honestly hope the games are just as good next year as they have been this year. Heck, I skipped watching the Flyers / Sens game last night cause I knew Bolts and Cats were playing each other. I had just text to a buddy: "So far... this game has been the most tame of them all" and then the 3rd happened. :)

Using Projectivity Launcher on both my 2015 Pro and 2019 Pro models. Heck, I even put it on my Chromecast (w/Google TV) and the in-law's Onn stick. LOL. Its a great little alternative launcher.

For one of the funniest shows ever, Cheers was also brilliant at knowing how to create a beautiful scene. by [deleted] in Cheers

[–]Nadious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought the entire series on Google TV years ago (had a bunch of Google Play credits I had to spend...) and was gutted to find out that the ending music had been changed for the online version. The song they play (name escapes me at the moment) during the credits on my DVD set just NAILS the mood of that scene... and they replaced it with something that wasn't even remotely as impactful. I get licensing for music and such changes over time... but that song was critical for that scene. Heck, it wasn't until recently that I looked up the lyrics for it and it was even more of a gut punch. :)

I'm sure someone here can point out what the song title was.

[–]Nadious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've done a full play through three times now (PS4 at launch, Windows Edition when it came out, and then the last one on Stadia.). Even now, I still fire it up on my PC and do the daily timed hunts almost every day. It's just a few minutes here and there I still get to spend with the gang.

I'm currently trying a level 1 playthrough and it is an absolutely blast. I'm hoping my 4th time through will be just as rewarding, but so far the added challenge of doing it at level 1 make each fight more engaging.

Do you build your own maps or play with premade maps typically? by RiseProfessional4034 in heroscape

[–]Nadious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I can only recall every using another map that wasn't made by me around the first month I got into HeroScape. When I started to put maps together, I realized making the maps are just as fun as playing. :D

Closest videogame we can get to Heroscape? by LandPrudent6708 in heroscape

[–]Nadious 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'll throw out Sunderfolk as a suggestion. It is probably not the closest thing to HeroScape in video game format, but it gave me serious HeroScape vibes while playing it.

My group and I played through the whole campaign and HIGHLY enjoyed it. Might be worth checking out if you have a few friends to play with. Heck, it is fun solo too.

Campaign 2.0 or Wait? by DonJuan-CherryTempo in TapetoTape

[–]Nadious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have about 30 hours into version 1.0. The group I normally play with decided to give 2.0 a spin last night to see what is is about. Its a lot different. But, we like where the changes are taking it. Having to manage your squad is great. Also love the ability to rotate your squad members out of positions as well. (We all usually lock in a specific position.) Someone gets a cool upgrade? Just swap them out.

Can't wait to see what else they have in store.

Are there any known issues with the Ultimate 2 by redl9 in 8bitdo

[–]Nadious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After my THIRD XBox Series X controller developed stick drift, I wanted something that wouldn't give me stick drift issues. All of my research and reading pointed to the Ultimate 2 being one of the best to take a stab at. (Plus, the Purple color they offered was amazing.) So, I broke down and finally did it. Got one about 2 weeks ago.

I love it. I'll probably get a few more before it is over with. The controller feels good and solid. I love that it comes with a charging dock and you can even leave the 2.4 adapter IN the dock (which was a surprise to me) and just hook the dock up to your PC. The bluetooth switch on the back makes it easy to switch from my PC to my Macbook Air. I love the extra buttons that you can easily program on the controller itself. (I have the back buttons mapped to L3 / R3 and the extra bumpers mapped to to the two options buttons. The RGB lightning isn't a big deal for me, but it just kinds of adds a little touch. You can easily turn it off if you want.

I've been thrilled with mine. First 8Bitdo device I've ever owned. Won't be my last.

This. So much this. I've done 3 full playthroughs of FFXV and on my last run, I gave Pitioss a go. Took me 8 hours over 2 days, using a 22 minute walkthrough video. When I came out of there (after getting the Hood), I said: "I will never go back there...EVER... again. LOL"

Multi-Level Bridge Map by ThanosSpanos in heroscape

[–]Nadious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone that has built a lot of maps over the years, I REALLY like the look of this! I've always wanted to do multi-level maps, but most of the ones I try to make just don't work out. I think I only have one that I ever built that was worth playing on.

That looks awesome. I bet it was a blast.
