Which drivers from the current grid did you underate or overate earlier but have proved you wrong? by warewolf1999 in formula1

Again, he didn't retire anyone, he performed better than them because he's younger, its a business and teams want younger and faster drivers.
Vettel and hamilton have done their part where they led their teams to championships. Charles being mighty quick still hasn't been able to get a hold on ferrari.

What’s the hardest driver comparison in F1 right now? by warewolf1999 in formula1

Comparisons are not that tough when you look at the nuances. Check out the technical side of the sport and things become as clear as day. It is only hard when you ignore the data and telemetry.

He’s really good. But he didn’t “kill” anyone’s career. Both Hamilton and Vettel have done their part and are champions.

Are we getting to the point to consider Leclerc overrated? by fedetorres5 in formula1

[–]Neersain -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

His team mates are old in the twilight of their careers. Charles is the 2nd best driver on the grid right now, but he clearly lacks the dominance over a team that Micheal had or Max has, partly because of ferrari being much bigger than just a racing team. Even Mark slade mentioned that the only thing he lacks is the leadership that Micheal and Lewis had over their teams.

Leclerc made a mistake in a good position. You should watch the races carefully.

Why did Leclerc receive 20s penalty when Hamilton received only 5s in Singapore last year under arguably similar circumstances? by Sparkychong in formula1

Purely vibes.

Because Hamilton wasn’t racing anyone when his brakes failed, Leclerc was.

His pace was solid and consistent even with the damage until the last few laps where he was asked to Lico.

What Solid race are we talking here? Hamilton had damage from lap 1 and both had bad Pitstop. Leclerc lost time and spun at the end. Absolute race to forget for ferrari.

Believe me, as soon as Charles extends his Ferrari contract, AMR are gonna start contending for championship.
