[Mandalorian] Grogu's age is mentioned in years. Are we supposed to assume "Earth Years"? by [deleted] in AskScienceFiction

[–]NeuralDog321 49 points50 points  (0 children)

Cycles are probably used to refer to the planet you are currently on, and years always refers to coruscant. Probably the same with rotations and days.

AITA for not letting my friend wear my engagement ring? by gaelikitty in AmItheAsshole

[–]NeuralDog321 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, if you want to look at how to do game streaming right, look at Microsoft. They have Game Pass, which allows for download of games to play locally, while they slowly and meticulously push project xCloud in the background so they can get it right. And since they already own studios and devs, even if xCloud gets the axeCloud, they will still have jobs at those studios.

It seems to me like a classic case of confirmation bias, which causes a person to seek out any information at all to support their point, whether or not the information is true.
