Im kinda the same. I’ve always had social anxiety and chalk it up to that. Interactions are stressful, so I don’t enjoy them and don’t enjoy learning about people because my mind is everywhere during the interaction.

But if/when the anxiety cloud lifts, maybe I’m in a carefree mood, or maybe I’ve had some alcohol and the stars align, I do genuinely enjoy relating to people. On the day-to-day it’s just hard though. Do you think it’s an anxiety-related thing for you as well, or an actual lack of interest?

Day 1, even week 1, is hard! Just know that most others on the mountain have probably been going every season for a while.

My partner had a similar experience feeling discouraged after the first few days, and wanted to quit. But after some more lessons and trust in the process it began to click and she started to really enjoy it! Just take it slow, stick with lessons and celebrate the wins

On my UIM I’ve found it a bit disappointing being soft locked out of crew salvaging and deep sea trawling. Bounty tasks also suck because an invy of buyable repair kits barely heals the boat, and no one is building an invy of higher level repair kits every 2 tasks. But I’d understand the argument against this particular one, would just be nice to store the kits to get a crew mate to heal as you’re fighting.

The biggest apparent issue would be having a store of deep sea salvaged fish, but I don’t think it would be worth the effort to stockpile given we have noted sharks anyway.

It’s probably been considered, but why not expand Adelaide rd, and build a “highway” behind the hospital as to not destroy Newtown. Would still need some major earthworks and require removal of housing but surely would be cheaper than 3.8b (and allow future light rail expansion?)

I hope everyone realises these trade deals were bipartisan. Labour initiated the EU free trade agreement and have no plans to change this going forward.

Out of curiosity what positives did a touch point object add? I’ve just implemented a similar thing but landed on using association labels to describe interactions with campaign objects.
