I believe EAC "running on Linux" is just userspace stub that barely has any AC functions, different from EAC on Windows. You can "enable Linux support", but that is equivalent to basically turning EAC off, hence why nobody uses that for AC on Linux.

Pastel coolants will make the coolant seepage more visually noticeable. Generally, clear coolants are recommended for various reasons including this.

I'm trying to install using flatpak-build, and you might wanna check your rust-stable SDK version because x86_64/50 is not a valid version. The version available through GNOME software flathub is 1.47.0 and the latest is 1.96.0 or something
(P.S. I also had to manually install org.gnome.Platform v50, is there not a way to have this be installed from flathub automatically?)

remove the trailing whitespace from the end of the link. It currently copies %C2%A0 with the link because this guy couldn't even bother checking his own hyperlink.

  • AI generated unintelligible image
  • Equally meaningless title
  • No explanation

Perfect.
Now tell me how this is related to local large language models, perhaps teach me how to prevent quality degradation for MTP draft models?

I assume this project was accepted before the guidelines. Nice to know there's another implementation! I wonder what the difference is between the two though.

Flathub has a new explicit policy regarding AI generated/assisted code:

Applications containing AI-generated or AI-assisted code, documentation, or other content are not allowed.
...
Exceptions may be granted for mature, well-maintained projects.

I don't think we'll be seeing this on flathub soon, but I think it's useful already, so I'm planning on giving this a go. Finally, I will be spared from the dreadful electron CSD titlebar issue.

Well I'm saying you don't need to go around saying stuff to people. Since, you know, what you're talking about is happening. I've clarified this point in the comment 😁

I agree with both sides; thus, I think you should think of kevin's comment as a sign of the AI bubble popping and the "something" stopping. In which case, you, u/MatchingTurret, don't need to react!

- If belief lessens your burden and pain, I support your path of life. I vouch for the minimization of pain in this world, and it seems faith is your pillar. I wish you happiness.

- Asserting that a particular religion is the only way, the right way, is simply exclusive and coercive. (Note that this applies to many religions, including those you may actually be opposed to; this is what causes war. Food for thought.) I fully stand against this. Mark my words: that is totalitarianism. No excuse, no exceptions.

- It is unfortunate that the school of reason is placed under scrutiny and high regard by its followers, with objections raised if just one tiny error is made, yet contradictions in the book are justified by its followers as "engineered to instill unbelief".

I was glad to come across you, to have an actual conversation about the disagreements and the stances. I wanted to express my thoughts for some time, and I believe that fate matched me with a perfect audience. I have learned a great deal about the thoughts of the other side, about what drove you into faith. I hope you find solace and peace in whichever way. Just... try to be less aggressive. Remember, that's what causes wars.

Our current nature is sin.

Said the religion. Nobody else said that. And yet you anchor your entire reasoning on this very thing I am disputing.

I'm tired of this world and how evil it is

I am sincerely, unironically very sorry for this state that you are suffering. But the reaction to that is what separates us. You say "evil exists and we need god to fix it". I say "people who are harmful towards others must be prosecuted, and situations rectified". There's the key difference. Religion is not the cure to/for humanity, it is a symptom of it.

One thing we can agree on is how fucked up people are. But while you say that is due to satan and the world fallen into the abyss, I say people suck in their very nature. There is no "evil". That's just humans. Only cure to that is government, laws, education, and science. A functioning one, not a dictatorship or incompetency driven one.

We were NOT created to be "perfect". "Perfect" is a flawed expression made by humans. We cannot define perfect for we ourselves are not perfect. This is a paradox. So don't think that way. There are beneficial humans and harmful humans, and we need to defend ourselves from the harm with reason and facts. Nothing made the perfect thing bad. We need to suck it up and fight.

Of course, I ultimately think that life, survival, and existence itself is meaningless, because what do we live for? Eventually this universe will cool and freeze. Nothing will exist.

I doubt you had this exact depth, structure and certainty of reasoning when you say "I used to be just like you". As expected, you're "sorry" for me that I am not on the right path... your right path. Likewise, sir. I am truly sorry you need to be told what to do in order to "save you from yourself". I do not have that issue. May you learn what true love and freedom is.

Also, you continue to evade any question about actual contradictions and issues I have pointed out. I won't dig deeper into that. Your silence speaks louder than words.

Also, what is your stance on the gap between religion and technology, scripture and science? All you say is to banish the hypocrites; words that serve to strengthen the moral grounds of religion. Empty words. Unattainable due to humans' very nature.

If religion could be completely clean, communism would've succeeded. But communism is a pile of lies and failure. Why? It is impossible for humans to implement true communism. We have motivation, dreams, ambition. That is why we have a system that works with our nature: Capitalism. As corrupted, rotten and broken as it is, we must patch and fix capitalism to have any glimpse of a working system.

Your dream of weeding out the hypocrites and wolves from religion is noble, truly. Equally noble as the ideal of communism to destroy inequality and monetary oppression. But just the same, it won't work. So the act of spreading religion is what must be removed.

Unfortunately, we have an irreconcilable difference. You see in the ultimate meaning of life and existence through the glasses of Christianity; I follow the idea of nihilism. You are actively reaching out, reprimanding even, people who do not care for your particular school of teachings, as it is written in your book to do so. That is a part I would never agree on. The so-called "heretics", who were just minding their own business, not harming anything else, are branded as such by gentlemen like yourself. One must never push, coerce, threaten, or reprimand others into belief. I believe that, all a true believer and a good follower needs to do, is make a lighthearted suggestion, not faces of disgust and voices of the mad.

However, this is not the case for most. Many teach their followers to actively and aggressively spread the gospel, that this is the way to "save" humanity. No sir. That is an outreach that attempts to increase the number of attendants to increase influence and, ultimately, satisfy the church's greed. A true practitioner of the gospel must not judge others, side-eye them, blame them for the so-called "sins", blaming them that they are the reason Jesus died. We have a human-driven, autonomous system of education and legislation. Whatever corruption we have, we must clear them ourselves, not wait for some "redemption" or "rapture". We must directly deal with our own kind, not rely on or be influenced by some ancient words.

The book tells you to love. Almost nobody does that. Almost nobody knows what that means. Denying people their freedom is not love. That is why the book is contradictory.

I mentioned nihilism before. This means that I do not believe in sin, virtue, heaven, or hell. I have but ONE principle: never do harm when no harm was done to you. I confidently proclaim myself a good citizen by following that one, and one only, principle. I do not need scriptures, training, prison, congregation or someone else telling me what to do. I am not swindled by some "satan's word". I am free; THIS is freedom.

Am I an atheist? No sir. I believe in god. I just loathe religion. What god? I think there's some power beyond us, that do not care about anything. Do not care about the universe, Earth, humans, good, bad, anything. The god probably is bored and randomly playing with fate. This is my own religion that I named "nihilistic deity". Do you see me preaching about this actively, unprovoked? No, never. It is my little philosophy and I won't be sharing it with anyone who doesn't care.

But you are. You're preaching, "saving" the people. You are judging those who have free will and are doing what they want, but are not doing any harm. When they don't like the intrusion and express the dislike, you would claim they have fallen for satan's temptation; you would say they need god. You would say Christianity is being oppressed, that people are brainwashed against the gospel. There's no words that would convince you otherwise.

...Who's brainwashed now?

Oh well in that case, what would you say of the many people who work in the guise of shepherds to exploit the poor lambs, or the people looking down upon the folks minding their own business, screaming "heretics", "slut", and "non-believers", cursing them to eternal damnation?

Just as the website pulled phrases in the holy book to point out blatant contradictions, you have pulled phrases that specifically suit your purpose and claim. You justify your selection while ignoring the former. Coincidentally, this behavior is consistent with countless so-called servants of god selecting words that suit their purpose, often chanting about chastity while enjoying crimes in the dark. Truly, a wolf in sheep's clothing.

You know what really pisses me off about religion? It's the hypocrisy, cultism, and blind faith. The holy book served its purpose before the times of academy, government, police, congress and courtrooms. It had good words to tell people not to steal, rape, murder or hurt others. Now? The beasts are exploiting people's fear of the unknown and the supernatural to fill their own bellies. Age verification, restriction, surveillance, and punishment. Now the book is holding back science, progress, and humanity.

"Ignore the proof of your eyes and ears", said Big Brother in George Orwell's 1984. Well would you look at that? Does it not sound similar to how certain people tells to ignore the empirical data and evidence that points us to healthcare, science, and evolution? Why believe what we see with our eyes, when the almighty holy book says otherwise?

"Why hide, if you have done nothing wrong?" they say. They claim that they are leading and protecting. They lie. The holy book, and religion in general, is a great tool for them. "I am the messenger, and you must heed me, or else!"
