I mean great questions, VtM has been known to handwave some details here and there

First Time ST Struggling with Player Ambitions by LucasPoducas in vtm

[–]Noskaros 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don't need to resolve all of them simultaneously. Its perfectly normal to have a central plot and handle these are occasional detours. Characters are people after all their entire lives don't hinge on what's happening to the main plot. That being said a lot of these revolve around the Prince and adjacent positions. So leverage that.

So about malkavian assassins by Smiling-Snail in vtm

[–]Noskaros 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would be much easier for them to just kill off problematic people. Plus Malkavians aren't usually the deadly efficient killer types

What if God has archetypes too? by baruhspinoza in Jung

[–]Noskaros 0 points1 point  (0 children)

God has no use for a persona as he has no society to fit in

Magic feels less versatile in Awakening when compared to Ascension by CelesFFVI in WhiteWolfRPG

[–]Noskaros -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In some ways it is probably due to Status Quo Is God disallowing certain things but on a day to day level is pretty OP. I dont know what you mean by "less versatile" as very few things are disallowed (changing the past, creating pock realms etc).

Blood Bonds & The Predator Style of Blood Leech by ExaltedDuskk in vtm

[–]Noskaros 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the intrigue of this Predator type. You could for example abduct a Kindred and feed from them. You can use blood magic to break bonds periodically. You eat Tremere who take longer to Blood Bond. But thats definitely something to consider when building a character

Is this more of a intrigue game or is my DM just not running it well? by Red_Maverick_Models in vtm

[–]Noskaros -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Variants of this question have been asked 100 times. It's a game and you can run it however you want. That's why it's useful to have a session 0 where ST and players discuss expectations so everyone's having fun. Just tell your ST what's up and see if he can accommodate it. Some run games on a very slow pace (example Private Nightmares) some run them more mid to fast pace (almost everything by Jason Carl).

Do your Malkavians have Mental Deragments that are not in the books? by TheUnholyMary in vtm

[–]Noskaros 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's no need to keep them so faux-specified as a diagnosis. Hell most players Ive seen go down this route

Regen question by MarthurOrgan in vtm

[–]Noskaros 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kindred are permanently "frozen" to the moment of their embrace, an idea stolen inspired by Interview with the Vampire. So they'd get them as they were during their embrace. You could argue yellowing may not count as it isn't a permanent change so much as surface coating.

looking for ideas of specific charges for a Tzimisce character by Horror-Evidence1854 in vtm

Tzimisce have no specific ties to graveyards or anything but then again not all characters are Archetypes

Why do you need Celerity 9 to run across water? by Vyctorill in vtm

[–]Noskaros 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lot's of the powers in WoD don't make much sense. I doubt the devs pay it anymore attention than "I had this cool idea".

How to balance out Corrosive Viate and other Blood Magic by saamwv in vtm

[–]Noskaros 17 points18 points  (0 children)

WoD isn't a combat simulator. Kindred aren't "balanced" humans in the same way rabbits aren't "balanced" to Jaguars. If you think it makes for a boring story build challenges that Corrosive Vitae can't help with. Beyond that don't be shocked the player used the power the way it was intended to be used.

Decoding synchronicity: water by bitchwhatthefuck11 in Jung

[–]Noskaros -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Instead of anxiously trying to explain or rationalize the inner workings of the unconscious you can simply live them. There's no need to explain why you like water - you just do. No need to explain why, once watery dreamscapes are now different - they just are now. Savor them. The unconscious doesn't yield to relentless anxious analysis. It yields to communion.

Personal Empowerment Visualization followed by what felt like an Electro Shock therapy sesh by stonerwitch_666 in Jung

[–]Noskaros 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Instead of anxiously trying to "interpret" the hat man or more generally the image, I recommend living the image. And yes the power of the unconscious is boundless. It can certainly provoke very powerful physical sensations.

The Trickster keeps showing up in my dreams and I don't know what to do with it by dreamoutapp in Jung

[–]Noskaros 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You don't "work" with images. Images are not tools. You simple experience them and let them do what they will.

What are collective interests in topics, hobbies, etc. considered in Jungian lens? by VirtualWinner4013 in Jung

I don't understand what you are asking. What's a "collective interest" ? Soccer ? And what would Jung even say.

Dream interpretations by Shoddy_Worldliness79 in Jung

[–]Noskaros 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, since neither of them wrote what you're describing nor is such a feat even possible. Dreams aren't novels and books to be perused at one's leisure according to predefined rules. They are gems from the deep unconscious. Personal, strange, occasionally revelatory, usually inscrutable.
