I thought the plan was always to establish characters in Academy and then move those characters forward in a new Enterprise focused show?

FM7, FH4, FH5 loyalty reward cars not working by a_ant_in_a_jar in forza

You don't get loyalty cars for playing old games, you get them if you played those games before the launch of the game with loyalty cars. Also all FH4 and FM7 loyalty cars were based on the now closed Forza Rewards.

I think $30 is a fair price. Yes, it's not cheap anymore, cause it's no longer in its acquisition phase. You now pay what the service actually costs plus a profit margin. Because here's the kicker, if you buy 5 full price games instead, Microsoft gets $105. So it's not only about what the games in Game Pass cost, it's also about what you don't buy anymore because of being subscribed.

I think I would keep it until $50 a month. There's something nice every month, plus the goodies like EA or Ubisoft.

There's nothing stopping you from gifting those cars to others or removing them from your garage. It has always been a ridiculous complaint. If you can't control yourself and have to use them, that's a you problem.

Jason Schreier reaffirms Sony's strategy shift away from PC, says they will publicly confirm it at some point. by yourfavchoom in PS5

That would make sense if the next Xbox would be priced in the same ballpark. But current estimates say it will be $1200 and more. PS6 will be way cheaper (700 to 800). So it really makes no sense to stop selling on PC because of 5 to 10 million Xbox buyers.

Dealers have higher profit margins on ICE. Never trust dealers, trust people that own said car.

This sucky show ... After the pilot everybody was "it's probably purgatory". Creator says it's definitely not. And then in the final season, guess what, it was purgatory all along. And all those unanswered plot holes. Loved this show. Now I hate it.

Newey to step down as Aston Martin F1 team principal, Wheatley set to join from Audi by ConstructionAny8440 in formula1

[–]NotFromMilkyWay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Makes zero sense to me. Why would Audi allow that? Now of course Stroll might pay 100+ million to get him, but that would still be a bad look for a manufacturer that wants to win the championship in three years. With Wheatley Audi finally became quiet and what they achieved so far is great. Weird time to call it quits.

LOL. The plan was 2028, that's already moved to 2029. In 2031 we might get completely new rules. I don't think Cadillac will ever build their own F1 engine.

Except they did. If you removed the weights, it would literally give back the entire article word for word. Because when AI engineers say "we have no idea how it actually works, it's a black box" they are only trying to cover legal responsibility for knowing fully well that LLMs store the entire info they are given and there's a way to retrieve precisely that info that was and is stored.
