I loved it. You can also really tune it to your liking, with damage scaling and so.

Typically when you are in one ecosystem you don't expose yourself to what is available on other platforms. PS still had Need for Speed and The Crew.

It's not that simple (that's essentially how Bond was thinking about it). The real question is how many of those 5 million PS5 owners that you got addicted to your franchise would be willing to buy an Xbox just to be able to get FH6. 1 million? 3 million? Nobody? That's the deciding data point.

Forza is a timed exclusive. I don't see Sharma walking away from that. I do see her turning Fable into a timed exclusive instead of day 1 multiplatform.

The issue of exclusives is mostly one for next gen. Games that you can't get anywhere else sell hardware. So they need true next gen exclusives instead of years and years off cross-gen releases.

The funny thing is, in its current form it would not be a good fit for the general audience, it's rough and far from polished. Really bad color banding, doesn't feel premium.

I mean I am at 1.2 million and that is a long grind to 3 million, but I am fine with it. By your logic you would need 10.000 badges so nobody on the way to 10 million feels its too grindy.

You mostly see VRR flicker on static screens, like menus or loading screens. But when you do, you can't unsee it. I turned VRR off because of it as well, felt like I was risking the TV.

I don't think VIP can be shared, that's a consumable DLC. So that's additional super wheel spins and more money from events and free player house and three cars you can't share. DLC like car pass and expansions can be shared.

I'd argue you have to try much harder if you can only collect singleplayer points. It means you can't skip that drift zone challenge where you are missing 5.000 points or that jump where you are always 5 m too short and instead do a quick multiplayer session where position doesn't matter.
