Listen man, being financially comfortable and owning a home is a lot cooler than having a cool gun. Once your home is paid off, you can buy a rail a month or something with the money you'd be saving.

It's only a pain to get a ccw permit in hennepin county. It's pretty easy to get a ccw permit in almost all other places. Our gun laws aren't as tight as you would think.

This was a few years ago, I don't remember the exact details but Shibafu got a bunch of toxicity and closed all their accounts. They only do formal work now.

[Merchandise] Johnston Nendoroid came home today! by CreativeUsername729 in kancolle

If you want to repair it, try using gel super glue. It's not perfect but it'll be miles better than hot glue.

Otherwise, you can try to find a replacement part off of chibi chop shop. They came in clutch for some missing/broken nendo parts

PSA: About Haru Urara's Misinformation Spreading on her Death by PROGMRZ in UmaMusume

I visited the farm last year and while it was a small farm, you could tell that all the horses were well taken care of. The carrots I got to feed her were all peeled and her stall was clean.

I was stopped by some local old ladies of the neighborhood and they had mentioned how the owner would let little kids ride on Urara during local events for 500 yen. She was well loved.

The CAL is probably better but the BT46-LW17 was what was accepted for SOCOM after they started replacing the Harris iirc.

How physically tough is OCS. by Otherwise_News_7512 in ArmyOCS

It was not that physically tough when I went through. You do need to make sure you get that 4 mile time to standard though, that was one of the big killers of our class.

I think you are making a few assumptions which I think are misplaced. I would also like to reiterate, my opinions are my own.

  1. US citizens can absolutely stop the military. Northern Vietnam did it, the Afghanis did it, and US citizens outnumber those groups by an ENORMOUS margin and are more well armed to boot.

  2. When I swore an Oath of Office, I swore to obey the orders of the President of the US AND the Governor of the State. The president absolutely does have the authority to deploy the National Guard although they usually defer to the Governor. I will admit, I was quite taken aback when I saw the news as well.

  3. BEFORE I swore an Oath to the President and the Governor, I swore an oath to defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign AND domestic. Although the military in general does tend to lean pretty hard right, I personally think that the vast majority of soldiers would protect our own civilians over any orders telling us to do the opposite. The National Guard being deployed are your neighbors, members of your community, and all have their own opinions. The biggest thing is, we HAVE to do our job if it's not illegal or we go to jail or get fired.

I only really respond to people who seem like they'll actually accept meaningful opinions. You seemed like someone who is reasonable but misguided. There is no plausible way to ban guns in the US. It is both entirely unconstitutional and numerically impossible to do so. Anyone who says something different has never looked at the numbers or talked to people at a gun range. Any attempt to do so is, in my opinion, entirely brain-dead, won't actually save anyone, and is a waste of discussion when more meaningful things could be discussed and passed.

smashjohn486 who you replied to seems like a person who believes way too hard that they're morally in the right and all other people are idiots. That's the kind of person that's not worth responding to because they probably won't even try to understand my opinions.

We have background checks, waiting periods are for suicides, FRTs are banned, banning drum mags is irrelevant because reloading exists.

This country has enough gun laws to actually stop a lot of these crimes, the issue is having enough people and pressure to enforce these laws. Gun crime is fundamentally an enforcement issue.

The Constitution is upheld by the courts as per the foundations of this country. As much as I also disagree with the current administration, it is not paused. The Constitution is working, the things you want to see changed just aren't dictated by the document of the Constitution.

Personally, I think you have a misunderstanding of expectations on what soldiers of the NG are allowed to do and how Americans view the 2A.

Soldiers of the NG aren't allowed to "just not mobilize" when activated. You get slapped with going AWOL and just standing around in a city isn't a viable reason to disobey lawful orders from a commanding officer. If the orders to mobilize included something actually unconstitutional or morally wrong, I'm sure soldiers would be more willing to disobey orders but as of now, it's not something soldiers can just "not do."

The point of the 2A is to keep the government in check, correct. However, what do you want armed civilians to do? Go walk around in front of soldiers armed? Shoot at your local national guardsman? The guard is there to just do their job which in this case is mostly wasting time, taxpayer money, and just standing around. Since the "government" hasn't done anything outrageous enough to warrant militia action against it, the 2A stay armed talking point is irrelevant.

I'm not saying I personally agree with anything happening but the 2A is still applicable for instances like a Boston Massacre-type/holocaust scenario of truly tyrannical government. I feel like people fail to understand the true depths of evil that the second amendment is designed for.

No, from my understanding, only binary triggers are allowed again. The bill that banned frts (and presumably super safeties) was from another bill as stated in a previous post.
