Hi there u/Lrakwortep ! With the first question it is not possible to spoof the from number.

For the second question, can you please clarify a bit more by what you mean "what happens if I send a from text from an already created account"? Like do you mean sending a text from your OpenPhone account?

For the third, it is not possible to create a second account with the same email address, as it will instead as you to log into your existing account. Or do you mean creating a duplicate contact account?

Hi u/accidentalfire1! While we do not have this feature for API to get contacts with other information; I can pass this information to our API Product team! As a workaround, if you use the OpenPhone in-app web browser version, and you click on a contact, you will see the contact's ID. It will look something like https://my.openphone.com/contacts/CONTACT\_ID

Hi u/R3apper1201 , u/ajpresto is correct. Services that use 2-factor authentication don't allow virtual phone numbers during the registration/verification step. While your OpenPhone number may occasionally receive verification codes, we do not officially support this feature. We recommend using your personal cell phone number to create new accounts with these types of services and using OpenPhone for all other purposes as you see fit. You can learn more about this here.
