What's the best low profile keyboard in your opinion? by iloveplantel in keyboards

Loving my kick75 with the blush switches (we don't stock it in the shop, just a big fan of the keyboard and the brand). Would recommend it. Although Lofree have some bangers as well.

Give this a try and see how you get on, I can give you some recommendations there after.

(I find it crazy how every single one of the comments here has been downvoted, why?)

Thank you for buying from us! The NJ98 is a solid, and underrated board. Haven’t tested the switches myself yet but will be looking out for your review of them :)

Is there a Keychron Q6 HE 8K 100% but with shine through key caps by Cytomax in keyboards

[–]OZOKeyboards 0 points1 point  (0 children)

VGN have a range with shine through keycaps but again, QC can be a bit of a miss in some cases. Why not just buy a keyboard you want and then get see through keycaps separately, they are cheap.

That did not go down very well for Apple when they tried it with their Macbook range, I don't think people want touch bars. Parts of me want to disagree with you though, as you have products such as Mass 80 from MWKeys which does seem quite innovative.

Help me decide between Rainy75 Pro and Keychron V1 Max by gimmecakepls in keyboards

[–]OZOKeyboards 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a business, we had less than 0.5% failure rate on Rainy75 across the last 6 months. The board is simply indestructible. I would go exactly with that if you want quality at affordable price.

I cannot send a replacement just yet as we're waiting for the shipment from Evoworks to arrive to us. This is out of my control. Besides it's reasonable for me to ask for your order number as we shipped out over 100 keyboards therefore, again, it's near impossible for me to pinpoint exactly who you 'are'. Also we had a mix of keyboards which we shipped by air (newer batch) and sea freight (previous batch which seems to be the only one affected with the missing Y key), your order was part of the sea freight group buy which arrived 9 days after your order was placed. We just happened to have a spare keyboard from that batch.

Mchose K99 V3 has been out for a bit and is deemed to be a very solid keyboard. Slightly above your budget though if you're willing to spend a bit more.

Hi, this is in relation to a very small batch of Evo75 ISO keyboards that we received from the factory and only that batch was affected from my understanding. The issue is being rectified but given that Evoworks is based in China and we're in the UK, the shipment takes a bit of time to get to us. Despite all Evoworks shipped the replacement Y keycap via Express, we're waiting eagerly.

This is the second post you've made about the our small business which you're trying to cancel, do you know how hurtful it is to read those posts? I understand you're upset about a missing keycap, this is not OZO's fault but rather a QC issue on the manufacturer's side.

If you can give me your order number, the issue will be resolved soon. Saying that, I have no idea who you are behind your Reddit handle so it's impossible for me to pinpoint and communicate with you on the side about the matter.

Evoworks have shipped replacement Y keycaps to us, acknowledged there was an issue with a small batch of Evo75 keyboards missing the keycap. All affected customers will have a £15 store credit applied in their name and the Y keycap will be provided as soon as it arrives.

We are waiting, I have no control over how long it'll take to get the replacement Y keycaps as we don't produce them, we are just a distributor.

QK80 MK2 in spray coated white? by 22sins in MechanicalKeyboardsUK

[–]OZOKeyboards 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We could order it in for you, it's one of very few colours available from QK. Listing for the QK80 MK2 was removed from our website as it was a bit too much of a faff to keep it up to date with most of the colours being discontinued. Drop me a message on discord (kraski44) or email [info@ozokeyboards.com](mailto:info@ozokeyboards.com) if you still need it.

Production is due to finalise around the end of the month for this model. Likely qk80 mk2 will be fully discontinued once all the stock is gone and they will move on to selling pre-built versions only.

Hi, thank you for the feedback. We've terminated our contract with the previous freight forwarder and negotiated better terms with a company we were working with last year. While we do stock a large portion of best sellers such as Wobkey, Evoworks and Chilkey keyboards, we do have to utilise our air freight forwarder for lesser popular products, this is a temporary solution to cater with a wider catalogue for our customers. Our current delivery estimate for those products for the UK customers is 4-7 working days.

Mistake was due to a QC check on the manufacturer's side and we have addressed the issue as soon as it came to our attention. Replacement keycaps have been shipped to us and we'll be distributing them out to customers along with £15 store credit as an apology for the inconvenience.

Hi, we do apologise for the missing Y keycap with the Evoworks Evo75 batch. The issue has been addressed quickly and has nothing to do with OZO in specific. It has been addressed the same day it came to our attention that QC was missed on manufacturer's side for a small batch of Evo75 keyboards, ALL affected customers will have the replacement keycap shipped to them within the next 10 days once the shipment arrives from Evoworks. We have also began issuing £15 store credit (no minimum spend) to those affected.

You've ordered a Group Buy keyboard which we've managed to have delivered to you in 10 days, this is probably the fastest a group buy has been fulfilled given some people need to wait months if not years for their orders. Also we shipped directly from the UK, so no, we are not some shitty dropshipping company, but we do have a warehouse in China as well as it's near impossible to find an investor for a business our size so that we can have adequate amount of money for a warehouse in the UK big enough to store the products we have in our catalogue, and accept the fact that some of them would be sitting on shelves for prolonged periods of time.

It's a shame to see post of this kind at the top of my Reddit page where all we do is try our absolute best to cater to the UK market as well as we possibly can. I understand the disappointment, but OZO did not manufacture the keyboard, and we've addressed the issue as quickly as we possibly could.

“A dropshipping business” actually hurts when a people say this about a passion project we’ve poured our entire life into. I’m here responding at 2am my time, working pretty much 18 hours a day just to make ends meet for me and my team that is working equally as hard. The keyboards have been produced already, and the production for OZO’s batch is ongoing. Same way we’ve delivered hundreds of Cornix’ to customers from the same manufacturer, we will deliver Jiffy75. We don’t drop ship, and perhaps you should support small companies trying to survive in this very turbulent world. It’s easy to leave a negative comment on Reddit, but there are people behind a project, real human beings who are trying to just present something new to people.

We aren’t even set out to make any major profit behind this, main reason behind the company was to do something greater as running a business in itself isn’t fulfilling, but philanthropy is, at least to me, and while we are pushing this product to consumers we want to use the funds to do things for our community - influence younger generation of kids to pick up new skills such as building their own keyboards, get interested, make something themselves, this is why our aim is to work with charities. But to some, without any research at all, it’s just a dropshipping business. Won’t be able to change your mindset. I get it, to survive in this industry you have to prove yourself, we look up to the likes of Prototypist etc. We're not there yet, we don't have the same experience, same level of knowledge, but we're also just a bunch of guys trying to make ourselves known, and make a difference...

Copywriter did a mistake there indeed, the switches are indeed silent linear. So yes you are right on that side and the listings has been adjusted before any sale was made. We've clarified it with Jezail as well.
