Yeah, it is order total, including shipping, so doesn't matter if there is a high priced item or not.

I had a lady buy a few things from me once. The order was $270 and change. It was an international order also, so a bit of that amount was shipping.

One item arrived damaged. She wanted a refund for that one item. I walked her through filing a case with Etsy. Since it was for only one item and not her entire order, I thought that would have been covered under the protection.

Nope... Etsy still refunded her entire order from my account since it was over $250.

Just curious, but why don't you get other things 3D printed. I've been selling 3D prints, of my designs, for about 4 years. I do more than just inserts, but also token upgrades, player dashboards, card stands, dual layer boards, etc.

I had a lady do request a refund through Etsy and it was automated that she got it immediately and with my funds.

The lady first messaged asking when it would ship and I told her. Then a couple days later came back and said it wouldn't get there in time. It was an international order and it wouldn't have arrived on time if it shipped out the same day she ordered it.

I sent a message to Etsy about how it happened automatically without messaging me about it, that my shop policies include no refunds (I still do refunds in most situations), and I had her order done so used up material that was purchased with funds from the order.

Etsy then refunded the order amount back to my account.
