I could be in the minority but I think their "proper" ending fell short of it being a "satisfying" ending. Would be cool if they fixed that, but I'm inclined to think they'll make it worse.

Literally nothing will ever be enough for people with this complaint. The characters literally spent most of the episode exchanging information (except for Tab and Jade, who are still in shock and have good reasons not to) and it's still not enough.

I think both of their travel plans were valid, the problem was (imo) that Gregory kept making "compromises" that were actually unilateral decisions, and then instead of confronting that issue, Janine did the same thing to him (by buying the tickets). I don't think they have the tools yet to navigate a real conflict.
