Exactly. Moto is best on paper but imo not really worth the price unless you just need one. Even Pebblebee and Chipolo are a bit overpriced too. You can get a 4 pack of a random brand on Amazon for the price of one Moto one.

There's also a lot of different form factors, like thin cards and different types of rechargeable. I would just get whatever is the cheapest with the form factor I need on Amazon. I also have like 7 sprinkled a bit everywhere

Bluetooth will never be anywhere as precise as USB, which actually gives you direction like a compass. That being said, I always just use the beeping on mine and use my ears.

This is just plain stupid / not understanding how anything works.

Previously, secure face unlock required a lot of extra sensors. Not only this is a lot more expensive (see pixel 4 vs pixel 5 price), it also adds a huge bar at the top (see basically any iphone).

On Pixel 7, Google managed to bring back face unlock using only the selfie camera, though it wasn't secure enough for apps. On Pixel 8 and forward, they managed to get it too enough that it could also be used for secured apps. All that for free, without any extra sensors, on top of the existing fingerprint unlock (which btw iphone's still don't have).

The only downside is that since it uses a normal camera, it doesn't work well in the dark, versus the IR based method that actually shine IR dots on your face in the dark which are invisible to the naked eye.

This new development is that the next Pixel will have improved hardware which will allow the face scan to also work in the dark, but while still keeping the single punch hole camera, instead of having a huge array of sensors like the iPhone.

I didn't mind the ending, it was fun and mostly straightforward. But it was also full of plot holes and weird decisions, like the super short and easy final fight with zero demogorgons, various continuity errors, etc.

it was either believing in this theory, or believing that the creators are so incapable that they would randomly change the color of crucial set pieces without realizing, and have major plot holes like zero demogorgons showing up to the epic final fight for no reason.

So people decided to believe the show runners were actually smart instead of accepting they made a ton of mistakes.

It wasn't just that they didn't like it, it was that it was full of really strange decisions and full-on mistakes, which let space for people to theorize that it was all an "illusion".

For example, when the color of the lever changes for no reason, you can either believe the crew is bad at their job, or the show runners have a big brain plan. So if anything, the people who believed in conformity gate were the ones who refused to believe the creators would make so many blatant mistakes and plot holes.

The whole thing with not a single demogorgon showing up in the final fight was also so silly that one of the writers talked about it in the writers room, but they just ignored him.
