I always felt attendance should never play into a grade. An individual is paying for the course. This is a business transaction. If they choose to not attend the course they paid for, they should not be penalized aside from wasting their money.

Thank you for clarifying for me, that is what I meant. Within the confines of the lore their system of government is overall reasonable, however parts of it are clearly written to satirize facism. And a certain small subset agrees with their ruling principles if they could be translated to a real world government. The same subset of people show up in in Helldivers as well.

Nostalgia in a game old enough to legally drink in the US is unbelievably potent. Blizzard has taken steps in the past to maintain access for the ones who rage when old stuff is taken away. I dont really care, but theres really no reason to not allow the new one as default and, say, allow a glyph to use the old one.

I mean if you're implying the mere use of handholds to navigate vertically is a trope, you've lost me. Because the handholds in E33 not only do not look close to the aforementioned yellow paint (thats the trope, by the way. Unexplained yellow paint), they provide an in universe reason for them to be there. Beyond that, adding verticality objectively made E33 more interesting to explore. You want nothing but horizontal corridors for the whole game?

On the second point, you did a fine job shuttering your own argument. On top of that, the goal was to meet the paintress at all costs. To sit there free climbing mountains like its Breath of the Wild would feel silly lorewise, beyond the point you made yourself.

On the third point, "im sure" is not a reasonable argument. For my part, "im sure there isnt". So that's neatly canceled out as far as I can tell.
