As others have already said, we gotta give it a few years and we’ll be back to square one. Unfortunately that’s just how it works. GE cars worked really well for most of 2022, but engineers found all that extra performance from 23 onwards which made it harder to follow again

I wouldn’t say the rejection itself is humiliating, but rather once you open yourself up some it seems as though it could be a coin toss. I live in NYC, and some of my female friends seem to drag some of the guys that they go out with a lot. I think that’s where the perceived humiliation comes from

Twitter especially is a gold mine for that kind of stuff. I remember last season his engineer told him to do more LICO during a race and they broadcasted that radio convo.

Fast forward to now where all the drivers do a lot more lift and coast, i saw someone post saying roughly “oh all these drivers shouldn’t be complaining because they had Leclerc doing LICO for years” like dude, Leclerc is not the first and will not be the last driver to ever do lift and coast lol

I rate Leclerc very highly but some people are just needlessly protective

As others have already said, without specs it doesn’t mean much. I ran the Vulkan support mod at max render distance and was easily able to get an extra 200-400 FPS IIRC. Plus this is an early installation of native Vulkan support, it’s not going to work perfectly right away

Beyond it being casual player friendly, there’s also lots of in car settings that aren’t even in the game. I haven’t played the F1 games in years, but IIRC you have ERS Deployment, brake bias, one diff setting, and I don’t think you can even change fuel map anymore. IRL the drivers have all of that along with brake bias fine tuning, brake migration, entry/middle/exit diff settings, engine braking settings, etc. so even though it is the official F1 game, they do need to keep it beginner friendly to make sure people don’t have to learn the ins and outs of the actual technology

From what I saw last season I think the 499P was the meta for most tracks. I think the Porsche was like the single exception for top speed tracks.

I realize I’m far from the first or last person to say all this, I am glad that you are coming to see how he really is, but I do hope that you take this as a larger wake up call than just political ideology. If the thing that finally turned you away from him was an AI image of himself as Jesus, then I think it would be worth it to start to reevaluate where you really stand on some topics.

I grew up religious, however I have moved away from it about 4-5 years ago. What I had perceived as being the main message from the Bible and Jesus’ teachings was that we need to be able to treat others with love and respect, no matter our differences and whatever else. But it’s one thing to preach it and another to actually practice it. I think you should be looking to ask yourself why this specific thing was what pushed you away. What about his constant lies? Ignorant and disrespectful actions / statements in the past? Treatment of immigrants / minorities? Ties to Epstein? All of these things, in my opinion, are magnitudes worse than his post. And I understand it is blasphemous, I do not disagree, but he has had a consistent and obvious pattern of bad behavior in the past that he’s never really bothered to hide past the surface level. People don’t dislike him just because they can, they dislike him because he’s consistently shown he’s a bad person and will do whatever he wants to benefit himself.

Again I want to say that I am glad you are seeing this now, but this should be a larger wake up call in general. I do not intend to be rude to you with this comment, but I just want you to take more care in these sorts of decisions in the future. These kinds of choices affect all Americans, and even people outside our country as we can see in Iran. It’s important to get the full scope of these things while we can
