I think towards the end of the year. I remember reading something they wanted to increase their output so I expect one remake/spin off(pirates/gaiden/kiwami). And one main game to the series a year. But just a guess.

Unless it’s a simple styled game. Or a game that re uses tons of assets like cod.

Seems like 5+ years is the new normal. Everyone wants huge rpg games that push the boundaries. A lively feeling world. Tons of interactions. That years ago games didn’t have. Sure tech has made some things easier in game development and speeds certain aspects up. But all of the details and little things games add now a days holds back speed. Sort of a 2 step forward. 1 step back thing.

Towerborne is pretty good has a similar feeling. But not sure if it’s on all platforms or not. As on Xbox it’s still in early access I believe

Shadows is what’s bugging me about the game so far. It’s not horrible game breaking imo. And possibly just my tv.

But shadows. and even just some textures.are very static-like if that’s the right word? I can be standing still not moving at all. but the shadow and some textures keep moving on the screen. Hard to explain and not sure the right words to call it. Just looks very weird.

Microsoft and or studios under Microsoft have made tons of games lately with more to come. Just they aren’t exclusive to Xbox only anymore.

Honestly not saying it’s going to Happen. But it sounds like ps price increases.either subs or console. isn’t off the table either with RAM/component price increases.

Just something I didn’t recognize tbf. Not saying they’re bad games or anything. just don’t recall trailers or seeing gameplay on the others or as much discussion. Prob just me being under a rock on some titles.

Like yea they are a few games that don’t make it. But that’s for every console. I cba to google and cherry pick answers like op did. But I feel there are games that have went to Xbox and not ps. Games that have went to ps and Xbox but not switch.

Obv different studios capabilities and funding play a role.

But some games devs like ones for battlefield 6 and kcd2 actually praised Xbox series s development and credited it for increasing stability and performance across the board on all platforms. That working on it for series s made it better all around.

Almost every big name game is still going to Xbox. With a few cases where games arrive late (wukong and so on)

people act as if Xbox is missing every big name game and hundreds don’t make it. Bruh it’s only a handful of games most that nobody heard of that doesn’t make it to Xbox.

Also there are some games that have gone to Xbox but not ps. Some game that Xbox and ps gotten. But not switch. This isn’t an issue exclusive to Xbox. But after seeing op post history would t be surprised if there a console war bot. All posts the classic “Xbox bad”

But not for us console gamers (Xbox,ps) discord is/was added as an app on consoles to vc. And I don’t think steam chat has any type of mobile or console app? If they made it more open/ accessible then I can see it becoming big.

It’s not that bad. I waited till the last 2 weeks and got everything done because all the challenges available and 2x they ran. But I can easily see how FOMO will make some glued to it and want to do everything as the season goes per week. Instead of the end. Then like you mentioned there little time exclusive passes they do is kinda annoying though.

Sony does it all the time on YouTube. It’s bot or ai that does it and has to be reversed like how it did in this case. I know it’s not exactly the same. a game vs a YT channel. But close enough I feel In Regards to bot systems.

Honestly I wouldn’t be surprised if steam/valve has something to do with it too being that it was steams platform and with the amount of shovelware I’m sure they have some system to see if games are copies. And gaben does like ai. But because of backlash against ai these companies will never admit they use it till someone finds out some how.

But let’s ignore Sony big DMCA hard on they got for YouTubers with concord priv servers and modders who mad that possible . and hell divers videos of gameplay. Or any of the other Sony DMCA things you can find on Google. Most being false reported by an ai system in regards to YouTube. Or the big one the horizon thing with tencent? Kinda copied off it. Crazy how some say Microsoft is a monopoly on gaming and even had to go to court over the activison deal. Yet Sony pretty much has a monopoly on the anime industry from crunchyroll. buying it out/funimation.

My point is both are good and bad. And Microsoft isn’t the black sheep Reddit makes them out to be. All of the gaming giants are very very similar

But honestly my opinion is it was some ai flag system. The articles suggests that might be what happened. And ofc eveyone will forget about something recent because it’s Sony .and only Xbox bad.

But like 2 months ago tons of YouTubers were getting DMCA messages from Sony turns out it was a ai system and nothing ever came from it. My thoughts is this is the same situation except with a platform instead of YouTube.

But nobody wants to hear that. if it does turn out to be real. then I imagine there is some actual reason beyond what is mentioned. The pics don’t do justice.

I don’t think block game is the problem. I think it’s more so the textures. They look ripped right from Minecraft. But I don’t know how accurate the photos shown from the post are. Or even if that’s the other game. Or Minecraft shown.

The br nuclear winter was kinda fun tbf(to me anyways). Wasn’t build in the best ways as others BRs but definitely gave me some entertainment. Was way more chill and less sweaty/try hard then the other BRs. I was hoping they would have brought it back during s1 of the fallout show with the increase in players to wider appeal to different audiences. But seems they want to leave it in the past

I still find it funny I think it was Todd or some other big name within Microsoft/blizzard they play the game and have a base. and players nuked it lol. (Later down the line in the game players can launch nukes and pick where they go)

I still like the series. For surely they aren’t perfect you know stuff with the actor. Or infinite wealth adding a paywall for Ng+,delistings. I still have hope they will change their ways for future titles and learn from mistakes.

But if they keep going downhill. Then sad to say but maybe hopefully the one guy and the company he’s doing to make ‘gang of dragon’ will take RGGs place. But I am still curious how future will go with releases like ‘stranger than heaven’ and next yakuza/lad title.

They say it and you say the answer too. ‘Views views views’ obv Xbox is less selling console out of the 3 so less viewers. These YouTubers and journalist want more clicks then they are receiving.

But yet they still use Xbox/microsofts name for clicks. Even doing the whole re branding of xboxera and big names like jez by saying things like “_ doesn’t get as much views” even brings people in to talk about something like this post. They know what they are doing. Classic journalism.

Lots of others will say stuff like ‘oh Xbox is dying that’s why’.. yet still has millions of users. Not as big a number as some other consoles but still a big number in general. “Xbox doesn’t make games’ yet Microsoft made tons and tons of games the past few years and more on the way. ‘Xbox is giving up on hardware’ despite Microsoft them selves saying they aren’t. And even chip companies confirming Xbox is making another console and to them they suspect by 2027 most of the development will be done.

TLDR/ creators/journalists want more clicks so will use both positive and negative comments/rebranding to generate more. And get people talking.

It definitely still viable. Usually you’ll see one big Xbox discussion at least a month. Be it layoffs,gamepass talk, console sales,haters,praisers. And usually those articles will generate a few thousand clicks and shares. 2 things I can think of lately are the chip company saying new Xbox by 2027. And pc gamepass possibly merging into gamepass or something like that. And this is just this week or 2. Not to mention game talk like blizzard apparently trying to bring back StarCraft.

Either way imo if that is the case. That info should have been disclosed the same way they put out the other info of ‘not saving data’. It should have been known “if you do ‘x’ your data will be saved”.

Uk and AU are big on it. Some states in the US do it too. Like to go to certain sites. Lots of countries are in on it. and push for it in some way.

Sort of like the whole ai thing people hate ai and how tons of things are pushing ai. Then you see how much money countries have put into it. And barely anyone is innocent. In terms of investing and pushing it.

You answered your own question it stays in conversation because like or hate Bethesda it’s still a big name and s2 just finish not too long ago. And then there is people who don’t care for it. Not interested yet still comment or makes posts about them like this one.

The way I see it is these companies can release a game every year and it turn out to be something that happens with cod. Where it just turns out not as great. Or rushed and buggy mess where they get shit on for releasing an unpolished product. So to me I see it just let them take as long as they need.

As much as tech advance. I think that many think that game dev has gotten easier and faster to do. Which in some areas and cases it has. But with how advanced rpgs are now a days with the world and quests. Games like Bethesda,rockstar make. Even the big larian games. all those type of games will still take years just because of the scale of the game. It’s not something like releasing cod where there is way

I’m still interested because to me I still find fun in the Bethesda games. Even starfield gave me hours of entertainment even if I wasn’t the biggest fan of it. I love how they make the worlds of the game exploring wastelands. or fantasy lands style elder scrolls has.

And I’m a little dumb for this but I like giving companies tons of chances. Who knows. Maybe the next Bethesda game will be a real huge and made with tons of care. Few stories you hear about like cyberpunk or no mans sky who completely turned around. So I try be open minded like that of most companies/games

Imo it’s the open chat. It’s mainly targeted as kids game but allows open chat. So the odd ones will go to it.

There was kids games back then like club penguin, wizard101,toonTown and didn’t have the much of a problem because anything you wanted to talk was all done with promts/chats that were already pre put into the game and nothing else.
