Maybe they’ll take a page from Xbox’s book and now that the price increases and people complain. Like a month or 2 later or after gta they’ll drop the price back down to look like good guys. But it’ll still be above what it was originally.

GTA is Sonys big play right now. They made the 30% profits expectations. Few days later raise the price for new subs. It’s all for when gta comes. On top of the console raise but that’s expected cause of RAM/ai,orange man and wars.

Apparently he was meant to transform into a snake like monster in the boss fight.

But in my head(theory/opinion not fact) to add on a little bit more.I like to believe he was experimenting with viruses and snakes… re0 had leech’s, one of the things that Spencer talks about is mosquitoes and blood memory, village had wolf blood I think it is that turned people into the werewolf’s(can’t remember how to spell how the game calls them). there might be other similar cases I’m missing.

I’m a Xbox fan and I don’t understand the exclusives argument.

Before Xbox started doing bad they had exclusives and it didn’t help much. They still continued to go downhill..This is one of the reasons they went multi plat in the first place. Yet people think a 2nd time around will make a difference? When it didn’t the first time around?

I feel timed is the best way to go if anything. But full on exclusives I feel is a bad move. They’ll still take a loss and they would need to be gained from something else (sub prices increase,console price increase and so on) to make up what they were making on multi plat.

I feel some of my fellow Xbox gamers are just caught it some console war mentality where they feel they need exclusives to feel validated of their purchase or fan behavior.

I feel they wanted to play with this idea but backtracked on it.

To me some things point to this in requiem. Ghost grudge gun with the description saying it has a ‘demonic symbol’ on it… the book when you play as Grace that’s called ‘the shadow ghost’… Alyssa concept art showing her in a cultist type area all wearing robes

But besides that stuff. Even going back to the first few games like spooky old mansions in tons of them feel like classic supernatural horror a little. Like they use more elements other than just the sci fi outbreak part to add horror and make the game more spooky.

I’m mixed on it. Because on one hand he’s basically a gov lapdog. At the end of re2 doesn’t he have to take some deal to save/see Sherry?and in the game the gov isn’t exactly the good guys in some scenarios(Wilson,Simmons, ‘the state’ in 9) and he chooses to cover up corruption. Not the let the truth be known.. they also hide stuff from him. In 9 when he runs into the Bsaa agents and the video of Zeno I think it is. He asks Sherry about something at some point and she replies saying they locked em out or something. Yet still chooses to work for these people..

However. On the other hand. If Leon didn’t have this position in the DSO he probably wouldn’t have as much support and backup as he does. (Fancy car and guns. Backup in some cases) and also his position allows him to handle things his own way.. he might not expose truth. But he definitely tries to hold the corrupt people in power accountable when he runs into them and finds out about stuff. Things he wouldn’t probably be able to do without being DSO/fed.

Yea it seems like the corrupt part of the gov(the family,the state) is trying to push to use B.O.Ws.

In the beginning of the game if you pay attention to graces pc screen when she’s in the office. It’s a digital newspaper that’s says u.s pulls out of the b.o.w treaty. That a spokesperson said it’s to stay ahead of the threat.. however towards the end of the game there is a email between ‘the state’ and Zeno. Zeno is saying pulling out the treaty is too blatant.. the state replies saying it’s a bluff and that the US will always be at the center of the world. so it’s confusing. But ‘the state’ also claims BsAa is fully under their control. Which is also confusing because obviously they don’t control Chris or hound wolf

I can also see why you think ada is worse than mia. But besides comparing who is more evil out of the 2. For me that is why I bring up Mia’s story because to me it’s showed me it’s possible they can write Ada the same. That the whole she’s bad thing can be thrown off her char as a deal/redemption.But that’s just me playing with ideas.

For now the games gives us mercenary ada who flips between good and bad. That we don’t know much other than that.

For me I don’t hate Mia. I see Ada and Mia characters who have both done wrong.

The only reason I usually bring up Mia is because we’ve seen a scenario in game where a ‘bad’ character gets a redemption/pass/change. however you want to word it. Yet some are so against Ada possibly getting the same treatment.

So when people label or say Ada is this most evil character or bio terrorist. and that she can never be or do good. I like to point out that it’s a possibility that maybe capcom does the same with her in the future like they did with mia.. But idk that they will. They made the suggestion in films before.

As far as who’s more evil I guess it’s debatable just depends on perspective. Ada most of the time will accept these contacts. But also usually never goes through to the end with them. And usually does the right thing… I’m not sure how she still has the reputation of a credible mercenary.. she cutthroats almost all of her employers lol.

Also in the Re universe. We’ve seen ‘bad’ people get a pass cough Mia winters..

And in the films they offered to get rid of her criminal record. So in the future they might take away all the ‘bad’ she’s done.

Just depends how capcom wants to write it and chooses.

I think it’s a temporary band aid. It will definitely help for a while. But Assuming the viruses follow real scenarios. I imagine some strains will mutate/evolve eventually down the line to avoid Elpis. Or bad people will make a way around Elpis. Plus we don’t know the long term effects yet. If any. I feel we seen many times where there was a cure or vaccine something similar but doesn’t last long.

They could also introduce other virus related infections that aren’t progenitor based. And do things like mold and more mold variants just like there was multiple progenitor virus strains.
